Karak chai café is one of the greatest restaurants located between Cleveland and middleburgh heights ! It is ALWAYS clean and very inviting :) The staff is my favorite! Each and every one of them is a beautiful soul. They are known best for the viral TikTok fruit pastries ♥️The best one is the Mango one or coconut lol I honestly can’t pick just 1. The butter chicken croissant is also worth trying aswell as the Spanish latté. I was honored to be offered the role of hosting my very own sip and paint by the owner (Adnan) so it doubles as a very good venue for any event ! The max capacity is about 50 people !

Really enjoyed the pot of Karak tea. I love adeni tea and went to try this place. We ended up ordering something different and may now have a new favorite.
The tea was hot, sweet , and flavorful.
We split a sandwich, each got a dessert, and split a medium pot of tea.
The chicken salad was tasty. It was mostly mayo and chicken and we didn't notice anything else to it, but I enjoyed it. It was on the thin side.
Again, the tea was delicious and we drank the whole pot.
The desserts , mine a strawberry tree Leche, and my mom a cookie cheesecake. Both were delicious and decent size pieces.

This is the first chai I have had in NE Ohio that actually tastes like proper South Asian chai. With the additional pastries and drinks on the menu, this place is a winner.

This place has ridiculous prices! The desserts were terrible. They look so pretty but awful when you taste it.
3 pieces of dessert, 1 tea, 1 lasses and 1 Boba drink came to $68. Not even kidding! The jelly Boba's were hard and soft which doesn't even make since. It looked so good online but I was fooled. Never again.

I had the pistachio latte and the pistachio croissant, and both were incredible, perfectly nutty and fresh. The Biscoff tres leches was the standout, though; it was perfectly soaked and the flavor was spot on.
Great atmosphere, top-notch service, and even better treats. I’ll definitely be back!

Ive come in a few times. Up until today, I would say they had the best strawberry Dubai cup. The other day we bought fruit pastries and a Dubai cup and it wasn’t a good experience at all. The Dubai cup used to be phenomenal. Strawberries loaded with lots of pistachio cream and kataifi. Then a generous amount of chocolate drizzle. I love 40 mins away and I’ve gotten it maybe 5 times. Me and my kids were just in last week and got one. I don’t know what happened the other day. The cup had a few splashes of pistachio cream and chocolate drizzle. No kataifi at all! I was shocked at how different it was compared to all the other times ive gotten it. Certainly not worth 15 bucks. And definitely not what you see on tiktok, and not what they have posted on social media. It basically was a cup of strawberries with a bit of chocolate and pistachio drizzle. My kids were disappointed. We were going to share it and they’ve had this Dubai cup here before. I told the one girl employee i wasnt happy with the cup. I wasnt going to pay 15 bucks for that. The girl who is usually there during the week in the morning, was very rude and cold, didnt even make eye contact when she said, “we make it different now”. And she literally then just walked away. Like. What? I just told you I wasn’t satisfied as a customer. She didn’t even ask if she could make it right. But then one of the guys came over. He offered to remake it but by this time I didn’t trust them. My 3 year old was also being 3 about eating it right then. So i told him no thank you and I gave it to her. But then it gets worse. When she was almost finished, I asked for a bite. I took a bite and there was ONION. Straight ONION taste. And so i stuck my nose in the cup to smell and it smelled putrid, like onion. I even asked my 13 year if she smelled it and she could too. So i went back up and told them how disappointed and grossed out i was. Again they offered to remake it, i said no id rather get my money back, but they just kept saying they can remake it. I was so frazzled I told them, “no, im just never coming back”. I should have insisted my money back but i just wanted to leave at that point. I had all my kids with me.

So my review of this place is that it seems the pastries are made somewhere else, frozen, and brought/shipped in. So they are not house made, i dont think. They charge a ridiculous amount for average fruit pastries. And they are frozen so you have to wait an hour and a half to eat them. I was told by the one very rude female employee that they have a new method for making the strawberry Dubai fruit cups. If she is telling the truth (rather than just trying to shut me up, which is how it felt), then DO NOT GO there for a dubai cup. There are other places that make it better and are worth the 15 bucks. Why they would go from a phenomenal dubia cup to a downgraded version with a little bit of drizzle, and still charge the same price, AND be incredibly rude about it, is BEYOND me.
