We came to see a friend's band. Ordered a vodka tonic which was incredibly weak, if I wanted a glass of just tonic I would have asked for a glass of tonic. Surprised to find out that when you order water you get served bottled water and charged 2.50 . My food arrived and everything was cold the French fries were ice cold and I told the waitress and she put an order in which took a surprising another 15 minutes to receive hot french fries finally. By then my sandwich was almost done because had I waited for the fries My sandwich would have been even colder. I have been here before to see the entertainment but I would not recommend the food at all
I,m removing my comment because I am afraid of owner
Just popped into Rock Creek for a drink and an app before dinner and had a great time. Jen was our bartender and she was AMAZING!!! She had great recommendations and we had great conversation. We will definitely be coming back!! Hats off to Rock Creek!!
So this is a great place for a quiet afternoon drink and eat. The food is good and the service is great. Friendly staff, very inviting. Downfall is the outdated look of the place. There is a strange VIP area that's very early 2000s.
I recently came to your venue to support a friend’s band and was hoping to also enjoy a meal while there. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and left a lasting negative impression.
Upon arrival, we were seated at a table, only to be abruptly told by the owner that the table was reserved and that we should have called ahead. This was delivered in an unnecessarily rude tone, and we were told there were no available tables, forcing us to stand in the back for the rest of the evening. Oddly enough, those same tables remained empty the entire time.
Due to this and the lack of seating, we chose not to order food. The drink prices were also surprisingly high, and all beverages were served in plastic cups, which didn’t help the experience. To make matters worse, the condition of the men's restroom was unacceptable — an overflowing toilet, sink issues, water all over the floor, and cracked urinals made it completely unusable.
After seeing all this, we decided to leave early, and again, those “reserved” tables were still empty. I’m not sure what kind of experience your establishment is aiming to provide, but it certainly didn’t feel welcoming or respectful to customers. With so many great places in the area, I won't be returning.
Food was fantastic!
The last time I was at Rock Creek I ordered a Cesar Salad with Steak and came down with food poisoning.
Thought I would give it another try for their 90's Music Bingo - it was a fun event and the host for the event, MeShell Events, was great. However, they only had two bar tenders trying to serve everyone and run the bar at the same time (which has been a problem in the past as well and its hard to be upset with them as they were doing the best that they could given the situation). The bartenders were nice and trying to get to everyone.
But overall it was a frustrating experience and we ended up waited 41 minutes for just an order of tator tots (at that point we just asked for them to go after that wait time) that were burnt.
If I could give this place a negative star I would! The owner that wears sunglasses indoors and bosses his waitress around until they cry does not deserve to own a business. I recommend that no one goes here ever! The man needs a lesson in management and ownership.
Food wasn’t so good, wings wasn’t fresh, warm not hot, dry inside and very tiny. Chicken quesadilla came with maybe 3 ounces of chicken, but I paid 14 bucks. The bartender was very nice, I’d probably come back for the live music and drinks, but food absolutely not!
The drinks were not worth $9.00 for 3/4 of a plastic cup and asked how much the fish menu was and told $18.95 and every food item was different and the food was good and ask for tarter sauce and get packets sad and the waitress didn’t bother us unless we asked for something except when we were leaving and she was up our butts the manager was worried about nothing because he didn’t want to help and the place wasn’t even busy about 20 people so sad

Cool place, fish fry was excellent. Wish we had more time to check out the band. Will definitely be back. Thanks again..
Came for the fish fry and was disappointed. It's most definitely frozen fish, not fresh. For the price. It ought to be fresh. Service was mediocre at best.
The atmosphere was okay. It's a bar.
For a night out with friends it's not bad. I wouldn't go for dinner though.
Was there on March 15th 2025 they had a live band. The band was good The service was horrible! We kept losing our server and had to ask other servers to find our server it was ridiculous. And yes like I said there was a life band but the place wasn't even half full when we were there. I got the hot pretzel it was good but for the price of a hot pretzel and a ginger ale at $16 I find that a bit pricey. My friend had the Caesar salad and she said it was amazing.
Lives bands, great food, good vibes!
Great atmosphere and great staff! I will definitely be coming back! I recommend the steak sandwich
