Place was dirty. Food was cold after we waited forever. Service was ridiculously slow and gross- like hadn’t seen a bar of soap in ages. I knew Applebees was a mistake but this was a fail even for low expectations.

Went for their 2 for 25 but nothing really good for that deal. Got the riblets, they had do much fake smoke flavor on them. I was overpowering.

Ordered the two for $25. We got the ceasar salads for the side. The lettuce was not cold and was limpy and just not 100%. Did not get the extra dressing. The entrees tasted good after we heated them up. Was not piping hot. We ordered curbside but only lived less than 10 min away. Just normally much btr quality of food.

From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. They even asked if we would like to purchase a lemon for Alex’s lemonade stand! Then went into detail about what the proceeds go for. Love that Applebee’s does something like this! We stopped coming here in the past due to bad service and the atmosphere of the place. Decided to give it another chance. So glad we did!

I have been going to this restaurant for 2 years and I always see the poor hygiene of one of its employees, who when bringing food puts his fingers in the plate, and not only that, but also with long and dirty nails.

We haven't been to Applebee's for a very long time, because of service and quality of food. But thought we would give it another try. I'm sorry that we wasted our time. Nothing has changed, we waited 10 minutes noone came to even take drink orders. Did not want to waste anymore of my day. We left very disappointed with Applebee's that we will never return to any of them. They should consider closing their doors and selling the building's

We for the 2 and time in 3 weeks we tried the Middletown Applebee's and for the 2nd time we walked out after standing at the hostess stand for 10 minutes w/o being acknowledged.. and I don't see the possibility for a 3 strike ....the first time the store was pretty empty. 2-3 employees walked by us w/o glancing our way or welcoming us...then those employees disappeared...3 other couples walked in behind and after a short period they asked us if we had been approached. A few minutes later we left followed by 2 of the other customers...fast forward to today after about 5 minutes and several employees passing by us, a young man came by to say if will be a few more minutes.he disappears and then about 10 minutes later I see him struggling with tables in the far end of the restaurant for the party that was sitting in the waiting area. He finally came back and engaged the couple that came in just prior to his return, asking them what was the size of their party. I spoke up and reminded we were here first. His response was that other table was for the party before us, no related to the party that had just walked in... I am sorry but the customer service here is pitiful....maybe a manager is needed to over see this store's operation because it seemed like " the kids were running the store"

The kitchen is backed up so we sit in lobby waiting for 15 min wile there are plenty of seats available

Happy with the food we received everything turned out good from the mushroom burger to the chicken fingers my children ate and the drinks. Service could have been better we waited a little while more than 20 min for our food and the waiter Gary was rude. Not much of a friendly personality and just seemed like he didn’t wanna be here.
