We for the 2 and time in 3 weeks we tried the Middletown Applebee's and for the 2nd time we walked out after standing at the hostess stand for 10 minutes w/o being acknowledged.. and I don't see the possibility for a 3 strike ....the first time the store was pretty empty. 2-3 employees walked by us w/o glancing our way or welcoming us...then those employees disappeared...3 other couples walked in behind and after a short period they asked us if we had been approached. A few minutes later we left followed by 2 of the other customers...fast forward to today after about 5 minutes and several employees passing by us, a young man came by to say if will be a few more minutes.he disappears and then about 10 minutes later I see him struggling with tables in the far end of the restaurant for the party that was sitting in the waiting area. He finally came back and engaged the couple that came in just prior to his return, asking them what was the size of their party. I spoke up and reminded we were here first. His response was that other table was for the party before us, no related to the party that had just walked in... I am sorry but the customer service here is pitiful....maybe a manager is needed to over see this store's operation because it seemed like " the kids were running the store"

Happy with the food we received everything turned out good from the mushroom burger to the chicken fingers my children ate and the drinks. Service could have been better we waited a little while more than 20 min for our food and the waiter Gary was rude. Not much of a friendly personality and just seemed like he didn’t wanna be here. Over all food was good

I don't know what to say about service . The kitchen did awesome . Our waitress was awesome. There were other employees hanging out and the stereo for the whole restaurant was blasted. I asked nicely to turn it down because it was 7:00 in the evening and I'm tired and just want quiet . Not even quiet I just don't want to feel like I'm at da club on volume 11. I'm at Applebee's . There was probably 10 customers there and 10 employees and they were just having a good old time . The manager pulled our plates when we were about to ask for the check . Just because we were complaining about the unnecessarily loud music . We tipped the waitress and left .

I went out to eat with my boyfriend today we sat at the bar the food was really good but our bartender had a really bad attitude she was rushing us to order she wasn't checking to see if we were ok and from time to time she would go to other customers talking about us having a bad day is one thing but picking and choosing customers to take it out on is another our bartenders name is Tracie
I was surprisingly satisfied with the food and service. Our pretzel app and burger entre came out promptly and hot. My only complaint was that the background music was louder than necessary.

Rude staff when alI ordered and waited over 15 min for carside. Then when I walked in the host was not sure if anyone was working. Then when I asked a waiter he went off about no one working it and only 4 people and left me there. Another waitress walked by me twice and finally I asked her for the Manger. Who comes out and goes to another man first. Then brings me my food now almost 30 min since I arrived and no real apology until I said my food is most likely cold and she gave a weak sorry. I spent over $40 with tip and got cold food, rude service, and no compensation for my time waiting as had I known I would have ordered elsewhere and will not be back here.

A larger party was seated after us, and was greeted and started by the waiter before we were. That was our sign to leave. 20 minute wait total. Our corner table was very drafty and cold.
