Good ole neighborhood bar. Pool tables and cold beer. Hot burgers. My dad hadn't been in there probably 20 yrs, when he walked in he asked the tender of owner was around. She said at end of bar there. We went over and he said I thought that looked like you walking in! š
The burgers are made to order hot and fresh.
Always enjoy myself and the staff is amazing
Iāve never felt more unwelcome at an establishment. The ābartenderā made my friend and I feel like we were nothing but a burden just by ordering food at noon on a Friday. Everything was basically thrown at us, including the check which didnāt even have the total on it. We had to add everything up ourselves which he didnāt even bother to do nor tell us we needed to do. No hello, no have a good day, no thank you. Canāt tell you the guys name because he never bothered to tell us. Donāt go here for lunch. You would think they would be happy to have business seeing how we were the only people there. Side note, my friend and I are both bartenders and were absolutely baffled about this experience.
Great place

Stopped in for a local meal while on the road. As we much rather support local, small businesses and not big box! We felt like we walked in a time capsule. Super old bar! It was around lunchtime and the place was as dark as a bar could get! Some candles helped that dark glow! Food was bar food. It was ok!

Neighborhood bar and grill. Stopped in for a bite after hearing they have good food. Nothing fantastic, bar food... just good, solid burgers and fries type of stuff. Hubby had pork a tenderloin sandwich and wedges. I had a big burger and wedges. The sandwiches were freshly made to order, and food arrived quickly. They upcharge for each addition, such as lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Made the sandwiches a bit more than they should have really cost, by my estimation, but it is a smaller place, so their overhead is higher, I suspect.Like most neighborhood bars, this one reeked of cigarettes, and people were actively smoking. The Smoke Eater was running full bore. We found a place to sit in back, away from the bar patrons, and Steve hustled out to take our order. All in all, it was a pleasant, relaxed experience. The place was clean and well-kept, although very dimly lit as one might expect in a small bar.We will try again now that we know how it works. The wedges were pretty good, and hubby liked his sandwich and finished mine.
