The drive thru was wrapped around the corner packed so I went into the restaurant. Zach, Ashley, and Adam were the only 3 employees working today. Even though they were really busy, their customer service remained phenomenal, and un rushed. I watched them provide excellent customer service to customer after customer ensuring each were satisfied. I have to give credit when it's due and all three deserves the recognition! I was treated so kindly that I did not mind the small wait.

The white girl with long dark brown hair working the drive through January 17 2025 at 9:30 pm stopped serving paying customers so she could have a chat with some redneck in a beat up 20 year old SUV and give him free drinks. So I went to Steak n Shake without completing my transaction at Gold Star.
Get better employees.

Went with family and friends for a group dinner. Location was somewhat quiet probably due to weather. Server was quick and friendly. The food was really good. Able to enjoy our meal without being rushed. Server was on top of refills. Don't recall her name but she was kind and helpful. Used to go to this location a lot in the past. Will definitely continue to come to this location.

Went there yesterday, pulled around no one took my order. I had to finally holler and say excuse me the fries taste like nasty grease it was bunch of young kids smoking not the same gold star. I used to know. Going in and out, and I didn’t see anyone washing their hands I was kind of disgusted
Mind boggled They close at 10pm according to online and the sign. We pulled up at 9:02pm and the two employees smoking a cigarette out back threw their heads back. We pull up and park and an employee came up to either unlock or lock door - either way neither should have been done an entire hour before closing. All the chairs are already in tables and they are mopping. Entirely too early to be locking the door and practically closing.

I go here just about weekly as I live right down the street from them. They took forever this most recent time, and I didn’t even get my chilli cheese fries with EVERYTHING on the side like I asked. I came home to soggy loaded up fries as usual. cheese all melted. I’m done being a regular at this location, will take my business somewhere else that actually pays attention.
