Food was cold, I told them about a food allergy I have and the manager on duty seemed to think it was a problem to cook for me. They had no ice in the soda dispenser and no one bothered to fill it.

Place was dirty, no ice. No carbonation for the drinks. Order was messed up. Forgot to give me my whole order. Went to the bathroom and the smell made me throw up.

I love steak 'n shake. I think it has the best burgers but when I stopped here the other day their point of sale devices were all downing. I couldn't get anything
You order by machine which was down so had to order at register then they bring you your food you clen up after your self. Get your own drink and they only offer a single double and triple steak burger and fries

First and last time going there. The lady gave me a bag that had condiments over half of it. LIKE why would you give that to a customer. If you dont like your job quit.

We haven't been to this location since pre pandemic. We walked in with an older couple and seated ourselves. About 5 employees all watched us seat ourselves. We sat there for about 15 minutes and not 1 employee said anything to us. Several walked past us many times. Finally after about 15 minutes we asked for a waitress and was told to order off the kiosk. They couldn't tell us that when they watched us walk in? The kiosk has the audacity to ask for a tip. 😂 Yea, no! Tip for what? An hourly employee to do the bare minimum? The cook and another employee were too busy playing the claw machine for a labubu.

So the foods has been alright however the service is still shotty. EXCEPT for that older dark complexion man I believe hes a manager, always friendly and upbeat makes sure the foods perfect and his customers are taken care of. We love him hes amazing 10/10. Id suggest OBSERVING everything and the cooking if you go when hes not working because he runs a tight ship and when hes not there they do whatever they want and violate health codes.
Anyway, if you order outside of his hours its still shotty. They'll ignore you or get short with you, leave things out of your order. You better specify you want condiments or crackers if you order chili because they'll straight not give you anything. Both drive through and if you carry out orders via doordash. Workers will close the store to smoke outside, go on breaks. They'll leave you standing for 15m or longer while they talk in the back. Ive witnessed some of the men come in and whipe their noses with their hands not wash their hands and start cooking burgers. Seen workers cough like their ill then un gloved whipe their faces or cough in their hands and go back to cooking
Makes sense now on why sometimes we get sick eating here.

Can't even rate the food because we didn't get that far. Nobody to take orders. Evidently have to do that yourself and the place was absolutely atrocious. Needless to say my wifeand I walked out and went elsewhere which is a bummer since all Steak and Shakes in greater Cincinnati have closed for some reason. Maybe one of these years we'll get to have it again.

The floors are gross, the cracks and crevices are gross. Which also means… the kitchen is probably 10x worse. Don’t eat here. You will regret it.

Not a great experience. They no longer have menus or servers. You’re REQUIRED to use a kiosk order, and they won’t take your order at the counter. Won’t be back because of that. And the music was very annoying. The food was very good. The Route 66 napkins are a nice touch (we have driven every mile of Historic Route 66, from downtown Chicago the Santa Monica pier). And eaten in many Stake ‘n Shakes. Too bad.
