Cool place. The square is a hot spot in Middletown popular with local black and white people who all enjoy jamming with music ranging from R&B, Rock and Rap, along with pool and darts as well as karaoke. It's a popular gathering place that is open late and has a good kitchen that is open late as well.

Found multiple fruit flies in my cocktail. Everything served in plastic cups. Bartender was so so. Didn’t seem very inviting. Heard horror stories of this place while I was there. There are much cleaner, more lively bars very close on central. Recommend going elsewhere.

$14 for the Reuben ouch!! Arbys sells SAME sandwich for $7 , $14 is what i would expect to pay in NYC not in Middletown, Ohio,,,,, will not return !!!

Stay Away!!!!!! Stay away cause the police is watching this place very closely and it's gonna be shutdown before the summers out! The "Manager" of this place is an ex-felon who will sell you weed and beer at the same time. He is very shady and the ppl that hangout here are very shady as well. Nothing but White Trash and Hood Rats roam that nasty bar. This is a place where they openly do drugs in the open and no one cares. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL unless you need drugs or the three-letter symptom you will contract from this place!! This is Middletucky at its best.....

Good bar, small but decent atmosphere. Food is alright, chili dogs are good. Owner is a good guy, bartenders are fast and accurate.

The food was lightweight gross, but the environment was nice. I ate the tacos and they were very greasy. My friend got a different type of taco and his were very greasy as well. On a better note the service awesome. The food came quick and our drinks were refilled on the spot.
We actually went here by accident ane glad we did ... the owners were super nice and very welcoming ... the food was good and they gave us free dessert because it was the last piece of pie so not perfectly shaped ..but was yum. The sign outside isn't ... great ... with the name .. you would think the sign would be a large SQUARE ... duhhh. but what they lack signs they make up in welcoming spirit.

Love @ The Square! Had fettuccine alfredo, friend had stuffed pepper. Both tasted as great as they looked. Everything that came out of kitchen looked delicious. Gracious wait staff and bartender, answering all questions about menu and craft beers. This will be a weekly destination.

Unbelievably inexpensive and great food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. I will eat here everytime I am anywhere near Middletown. Highly recommend the cookie sundae for dessert!

Really enjoyed a light meal at The Square after visiting the Pendleton Art Center in downtown Middletown! The arugula and watermelon salad was delish, as was the bread pudding with a brandy sauce. Looking forward to eating there again!

It's great to have a good restaurant in downtown Middletown again! We went last Saturday night, relatively late, and we very much enjoyed the buffalo chicken dip and homemade salsa. My husband had the lamb, which was great, and the risotto served with it made a lovely Midnight snack. I had an amazing arugula and watermelon salad...dressed perfectly with great flavor combinations. Good food at reasonable prices!
