We came in after the Friday night football game and every football ball player ordered food. The wait was close to an hour to get our food. Would have left but the options in the area were limited.

The newer waffle house in Middletown rocks, no other way to put it. Far superior to the others in cities surrounding Middletown. Hats off to the owners and their staff. Not a single complaint to gibe here all 5 stars across the board in my opinion. Also you can download the wafflehouse app and have your food waiting for pickup and your right back out the door. So far we've ordered take out 3 or 4 times now aside from the many times we went and ate inside and hsbe never once had any missing items after getting home to eat. Most places you'll have a missing item or even 2 sometimes. This Middletown location has been ontop of their game since it opened not that long ago.

Can not have coffee till you order. When you do they bring it out with your meal.
These places have really gone down hill. The eggs were not cooked properly. The ham tasted burned and never was offered a coffee refill. I asked for it to go and they charged me .95
