An absolute sin that this treasure remains closed after all these years. It was one of the highlights each time we visited the area and was easily the best restaurant in Ohio’s Amish Country.
I was recently advised by a worker at the cheese house across the street the restaurant has remained closed due to lack of workers. If true, that’s sad. A local icon sitting empty. I liked everything about this place. It’s a true testament to the Swiss heritage of its area.
Swiss and Austrian styled food. Known for their various types of Schnitzel. If you have interest in trying something veal, I suggest the Jager Schnitzel. The service is very good and friendly. Also the Guissberg cheese factory is directly across the road.
