Definitely off the beaten path. You think you’re going up a sketch driveway maybe to a house that you may get told to stop and back up! You will then see another sign saying winery this way. Follow the signs , the owner and his dog are friendly! $5 for tasting all his wines. It’s a unique place in terms of middle of nowhere but completely worth it!
Wonderful meads! Worth the trip out to this location, or find them at the Saturday farmers market in Athens.

The Wolftree Winery offers excellent wines, meads, and a wide variety of fruit wines. Customers appreciate the friendly owner and the informative atmosphere. Favorites include rhubarb wine, pepper honey mead, and a range of dry to semi-sweet wines. Despite initial doubts, visitors are pleasantly surprised and look forward to returning.
