First, let me clarify my perspective. I was traveling across the states to visit some family.
I remember seeing this on the sign next to the highway exit, but I only topped by recently; and I am glad I did:
I ordered a panini, Italian soda, blueberry fritter, and a cinnamon roll.
Overall; the time it took to cook compared with the quality of the food; exceptional. I would like to thank the cooks for the time and hard work they put into that panini.
You can tell they rotate the pastries out at just the right time. Most of the time at bakeries or places that serve pastries, you have to be a little concerned with how long the food is out (making some pastries go stale) but whatever they are doing here; they got that timing right on the mark.
With beverages like Italian sodas or the French cream, you likely may be concerned with the temperature. But they got that on the dot too.
There is tables set up outside, and with how approachable and professional the cashier and other staff were; it really added to a cozy atmosphere that I would associate with a cafe. I really wish I would've gone here while I was still studying my degree nearby.
Good selection of food and pastry with quite a reasonable price.
I got biscuits and gravy, it was delicious. Most places nowadays tend to overpeper gravy, this one was seasoned to perfection. Dry creamy and flavorful.
Service was friendly and pleasant.
Only drawback is that the place offer very limited space to dine in and itās all outside.

Stopped in on a road trip and it was the perfect answer for a family sick of fast food. Awesome sandwiches and we couldnāt leave without some coffee and sweats.

I purchased a $33 cake for my daughter's birthday, it was beautiful!
we were all so excited to cut into it the following morning. We had some friends over, adults and children. Apparently don't let the looks fool you as this cake was horrible. Not 1 child ate it, none of the adults found it appetizing. I have had their cake, food, pastries before and they were great so in this case I was so very disappointed! Not only for my daughter and her special day but for all of us that were looking forward to having an amazing cake that wasn't from Walmart or Kroger.
no one ate this cake more than a couple bites. 100% was thrown into the trash.
I called after the weekend to let them know how awful this was, thinking maybe it was just a mistake. The manager was very defensive and rude. I even asked her why she was talking to me that way.
I was asked to take the rest of the cake in so they could investigate. sure no problem.
got up early, to get it there before I had to be to work. dropped it off.
get a call shortly after. telling me that is how they are made. she's sorry I didn't like it but that's it. I said it wasn't just me that didn't like it, it was literally everyone that tried it. even the kids wouldn't eat it.
still very defensive and not friendly, I once again said, I'm being very calm and nice, why are you talking to me like this. she said I'm not talking to you like anything. I'm telling you (while interrupting every sentence I started) this is how we make our cake and have for many years. sorry you didn't like it. .......
so there's no fixing the situation, I'm just out $33 for a tiny cake, disappointed 10 yr old, and a trash can full of disappointment!!
honestly shame on you 8 sisters, I raved about you for years. this is really a shame that there's 0 compassion, empathy, or trying to make this right!

Hazelnut coffee was made fresh, the Bavarian cream donut with bacon on top was fabulous, and the Buckeye cheesecake brownie was wonderful! The hot honey chicken sandwich was delightful!!! The young lady with pink hair at the coffee station was soooooo welcoming and kind, she gave amazing customer service. The other staff members were kind as well.

This is the reason why you need to shop/dine at local establishments! It begins with the friendly staff who'll help you find that perfect treat! The donuts and the hand pies .. a great selection with various fruits and toppings, and they do take special orders for larger pies (my favorite is Key Lime pie)
Please donāt expect anything good out of here. The donuts were not great. Itās very expensive so beware in my wife said donāt forget to say the donuts are very bland not much taste.
