We were seated by a nice young man, unfortunately none of the other staff even acknowledged us. There was a party seatedafter us and at least they had got water. After waiting 25 minutes, we left.I hope staff gets better training- awful hospitality!

We got here at about 1pm on a Saturday December afternoon. There were only 4 tables that we could see with patrons. However, those tables were very large. We waited 7 or 8 minutes for somebody to greet and seat us. It turned out the girl that was waiting on all of these tables was the only one there. So she apologized and sat us. She was very friendly and took our drink orders immediately. There was a manager lady there that was helping her. The menu is very small. We both had difficulty finding something that we wanted, but we drove an hour to get here just for lunch and to look at the themed Christmas trees, so we definitely had to eat here. My husband ended up getting up a mesquite lime chicken sandwich. He said it tasted okay but the chicken was very dry. I got what they called a smoked turkey parm sandwich. It was very odd as the cheese was not on the sandwich. It was fried to the outside of the bread. The sandwich would have been really good if it just had regular cheese on the inside. But this made a little bit of an odd flavor and definitely a weird texture. It wasn't bad though. And I would get it again just because there's nothing else on the menu that would interest me. I wish they would publish their menu on their website before people drive all the way down here to eat. It took about 40 minutes to get our food, but the waitress did explain that It was gonna take a long time due to the very large tables that ordered before us. This was understandable, but the lengthy delay in getting the food did cause us not to get out of there until 2:20 when the restaurant closes at 2. Our waitress was doing her best though and I assume the kitchen cook was as well. The seats at the table are very comfortable and it's a nice view of the lake. I say the biggest con is that the menu is too small and it's not on their website. So you don't know what you're going to get to you get there (the menus I saw pictured online in other reviews were not what we had offered today)

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. However, the food was either undercooked overcooked or came out cold do not, and I repeat, do not order the pork belly appetizer.

There are several tables near the window for a beautiful view. I ordered coffee and my husband ordered iced tea. She let it know it comes from a fountain and she’d be happy to replace it if he didn’t like it which he didn’t. She brought me a whole carafe of coffee and 2 kinds of creamer which was very appreciated. We both ordered French toast with crisp bacon. The bacon was very good and the French toast was decent. Good flavor but the bread was a bit dry so I just used extra syrup - she brought plenty. It was a bit of a wait for food but we just enjoyed the views while we waited. The service was very good which along with the view is why I gave 4 stars. The food itself was 3 star.

This was our first time visiting. We came on a Saturday evening and by about 6:30 they were already out of all chicken, salmon and few burgers (there is already a limited menu). No lighting—a table next to us had asked about turning lights on but waiter stated they had no control of lights. Another table came in and had to use their phones to see the menu! Service was good, our waiter was kind and attentive.

I can't speak of how the food was because I was never greeted or sat. Three of us stood there 15 mins. Not a soul ever welcomed us. Two people eating but no servers around. Absolutely terrible service. Would not recommend. We left in search of food elsewhere.

The restaurant is in the Lodge, and all tables have a view of Deer Creek Lake.

Very nice views of the lake and going through a major renovation. The food was pretty good and the service was very nice but very slow

Food was great but the service was horrible. I have never had bad service like this before from a place that was not busy. Our glasses were empty and the waitress forgot some of our food. We could see her just standing around not doing anything. When we paid our bill $51 with $60 in cash our waitress came back to our table and asked if she could keep the rest of the money.

Great place to eat. Very friendly and helpful staff. This place has a great view over looking Deer creek lake. The prices were good for two of us it only cost $19.00 wich was amazing. The food is great. Very highly recommended to everyone!!!Kid-friendliness: Very nice kids menu.
