Stopped here to visit with a close friend. He highly recommended Burrata Woodfired. He had the four cheese pizza, my Wife had the lasagna, and I had the Margherita pizza. We also shared an artichoke spinach dip appetizer. The food was absolutely tasty and our waitress was very nice. The next time we head to Mt. Vernon, this will be a definite stop.
We arrived for a late dinner about a half hour before closing. The staff greeted us and treated us as if we were the most important customers they had this evening. Sitting and dining at the bar was our choice and we enjoyed the company of a wonderful bartender. The food was excellent as was the service. Given the hour, we did not overstay our welcome. But we will surely be back when we can spend more time and enjoy other items from a very inviting menu.
We both ordered off the “hidden” menu last night and although the food was good it didn’t seem to hit the spot for either of us. We frequent this restaurant and there are so many great menu items that we’ve come to love. Angry Pig pizza, meatball appetizer, Carne DiPapa appetizer, & Steak Salad are a few of my favorites.
