Burrata catered my son’s wedding over the weekend. The food was OUTSTANDING! I loved everything I tried. Caesar salad was so delicious. There were 3 pasta dishes—Alfredo, the mushroom pasta and spaghetti with meatballs. Every single one was delicious, nicely sauced and not dry. They also passed the meatball test, so, so good. Stopped here to visit with a close friend. He highly recommended Burrata Woodfired. He had the four cheese pizza, my Wife had the lasagna, and I had the Margherita pizza. We also shared an artichoke spinach dip appetizer. The food was absolutely tasty and our waitress was very nice. The next time we head to Mt. Vernon, this will be a definite stop.
We arrived for a late dinner about a half hour before closing. The staff greeted us and treated us as if we were the most important customers they had this evening. Sitting and dining at the bar was our choice and we enjoyed the company of a wonderful bartender. The food was excellent as was the service. Given the hour, we did not overstay our welcome. But we will surely be back when we can spend more time and enjoy other items from a very inviting menu.
