Great place for dinner. Any chicken dish as well as the fried fish is excellent. Very well prepared and the portions are plentiful. The service here is always great and the restaurant itself is clean and well kept.

Nashville hot chicken sandwich was delicious, this place is beautiful, and the live music by Just Jazz Live was a great way to relax in the evening.

We went initially for the spectacular views but the food was incredible, too! And great service! My companion loved the architectural details of the building. An all-around wonderful time.

Dined here for New Year's Eve. It was horrible. We arrived to a lobby full of people waiting to be seated (despite all having timed reservations) and were told "nobody has left yet, we can't seat you". When finally seated (20 minutes late) our party of 4 was sat at a table for 6. They should have broke the extra table off to size our table properly and seat one of the many parties of 2 that were still waiting. They were already out of the hot appetizer option. Our waiter greeted us with "You're just having waters tonight, right?" and we were never offered a wine list or cocktail menu. We were never provided bread plates. Salad and appetizer courses were brought to the table at the same time, we then waited over an hour for the entree. Dessert course was brought before entree dishes were cleared. Food was mediocre, steak was overcooked (waiter did notice and to his credit brought a replacement, even though we said it would be fine) and creme brûlée had no hardened, caramelized sugar on top. The evening was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. We wanted an upscale evening out to celebrate the holiday and got anything but. Huge disappointment.

First time there was not impressed. The food did not taste that good, it was Luke warm.

Had a terrible experience there yesterday evening for dinner and not the first. It took an hour to get our food after ordering. We were only the third table in the restaurant, so it's not as if they were busy. And even at busy restaurants I have rarely ever waited for an hour to get my food served.

I had ordered the salmon, it was the most overcooked salmon I have ever had!!! It obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least 30 minutes. It basically was a brick.

I have tried this restaurant several times now in the past year, hoping that it will get better. Unfortunately, it hasn't and will not be back.

A very big let down. Steak ordered medium rare came completely cooked through. The salmon was cooked way too long and the sides were cold even after waiting over an hour for our food. They weren't busy either.

Everyt single time I come here the service is atrocious. Takes 20 minutes for someone to even come take a drink order. Never any apology, takes an hour to get your food when there are only three other tables of people. The food is delicious, and because of that every few months we try it again. Our memories of how bad the service is fade and we think “maybe the service got better”. Never once have we had good service. In the dozen times we’ve been. This place is expensive…. For this price I expect atleast decent service. If you want to wait 30 minutes to get a drink refill and have a $100 plus check have fun.

The food was the best part I don’t know why it took so long to receive our food because it was hardly busy. To also add our waitress would visit the other tables in the area we were in and she hardly checked on us. It took over an hour to receive our food and about 10 minutes to even get our drinks ordered. Overall it was an ok experience but it could have been way better.

Our family, 9 of us, were pleased to visit Overlook December 20, 2023 for their specials of Filet or Shrimp. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday. We must applaud the chef for the best filets we've ever ever had, seriously. Others had the Shrimp, Chicken Wrap, Ribeye, Pork chop, and Pasta Alfredo. All loved their meals. The waiter, young man, was very attentive and willingly engaged. We will return to Overlook often. We don't understand why Overlook isn't crowded every night but it is a distance from town... but it's worth it to visit there.

Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and the waiter quickly checked with the kitchen and reviewed available gf options.

Our group of friends went to Virtues for our group Christmas dinner last evening (Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023). We had high hopes based on what we heard about the place. What a disappointment! To begin with, the room was freezing (bar dining room). To be comfortable, you needed to wear your winter coat while eating dinner. Not good. We ordered our food and waited over an hour to get it, despite being the only table in the room. When we finally got our food, it was cold. I knew I was in trouble when I put butter on my baked potato and it didn't even melt. Our steaks were dry and grey from overcooking. Our waiter did a disappearing act and didn't return for refills or to check on us. Needless to say, we won't go back and would caution anyone else to think twice for paying premium prices for such poor service and substandard food. The kicker was absolutely no one seemed to care that we had such a miserable experience. No manager in sight. Never again.
