Sunday night dinner for 3 at this establishment. There was only a 5 minute wait at 7pm for a table. The waiter took our drink and appetizer order quickly, but that was all they did. We received our apps from another employee. We finished all of the appetizers before ordering our entrees, which were taken by a manager, I think, (she was manning the bar). Our waiter only came to refill drinks, other than that he was viewable in the corner on his phone. The food was decent, but...
I ordered the onion soup and a meatball sub. The food was good but the onion soup wasn't hot when served. We also shared some pretzels and cheese as an appetizer and it was very good.
This place was great. The Original Pizza with pepperoni sausage and mushrooms was very good. It is more a NY style than a Neopolitan, but definitely wood fired.
The salads looked good and everyone liked them.
We had the Dankhouse IPA. Good stuff!
Chrissy was our server. She was on it. Very knowledgeable and personable. A stand out in this day and age for sure. She needs a raise.
Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
