Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Great staff. The pairing section on the menu is greats. The prices are a little overpriced on some entrees. However the spinach lobster dip. Is perfect and so the the flounder fish sandwich. It was fried and seasoned perfect. Great crunch and flavor. Might be the best fish sandwich in the area. The chips have a unique taste that is awesome. I don't know what oil the fry them in but they are tasty.

Firebirds is a want-a-be high end restaurant. Sadly, you're better off going to J. Alexander's or Cap City for a better meal. Our experience was miserable. Our server was sure that his charm would offset his deficiencies as a waiter. We waited 25 minutes for waters to be served. 15 minutes later our drink order was taken. 15 more minutes passed before our adult beverages arrived. 20 more minutes passed and finally appetizers were ordered. We decided to order our meals at the same time because our waiter kept disappearing. The appetizers came quickly, but the meals came 30 minutes later. Our group ordered a variety of dishes, steaks, burgers, salads, seafood and for the price, the food underwhelmed. The manager visited our table and asked how our food was we didn't want to make a scene and simply said okay. That was good enough for him but okay isn't good enough for us ever to visit this restaurant again. Unimpressed is how I'd describe this venue.

Food and service were fine. Took over 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. Others left before getting their dinner. Bring a jacket the a/c is set to freeze you.

As someone who has to eat gluten free, I was disappointed that my only option was bland shrimp and grits. Maybe put some cheese in the grits and add flavor to the tomato sauce. The andouille sausage tasted like it had been boiled for hours. Shrimp was cooked perfect though!! Also, the portion for the price??? Seriously maybe 1/2 cup bland grits with 1 cup bland tomato sauce, over boiled andouille sausage and 5 perfect cooked shrimp for $24???? Highly disappointed! Even the deviled eggs were bland. Polaris location much better!!!!

I’ve dined at this restaurant before, but this location and experience was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow, the food was mediocre & not well seasoned, the bread was not fresh (hard & crunchy), and it took forever to receive my check to pay for my meal. The price wasn’t worth the subpar dining experience I had. I will not recommend this location to anyone, nor will I be back to dine again. Texas Roadhouse is cheaper and their food is more delicious. The only thing I enjoyed at Firebird’s was the passion fruit lemonade.

Firebird had an excellent brunch. The food was very good, the service was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere.

Dinner, dessert, and appetizers were all fantastic. Our waitress was phenomenal

Great food but it can be very crowded and hard to find parking.

Just had dinner here around 6:40ish-7:00ish pm. THE WHOLE STAFF WAS AMAZING. (They were three young men.) They were super nice and professional they treated everyone who came in with respect and even greeted them. I got the Italian sub it was very good!! The place was clean and I would like to note the tables were as well. Sometimes I go to a sub place and it's pretty hit or miss but these guys made it right!! Again they did an amazing job and were very efficient, while working was other customers as well!! They are a very valuable stuff for a quick paced sub place and definitely deserve a rase. As someone who works in business they are headed in a great direction and will do anything they set their mind to!! I definitely will be returning as a customer again! So thanks so much Thursday staff!! >

Lotus was an excellent waitress, drink refills were here before we even had to ask, very polite and attentive, and the food was amazing, steak with the side of carrots paired so well I almost liked them better together rather than separately, will be returning at some point.

My server was lily, at least.I believe that was her name. A she was friendly and got to know my name. And as the night progressed, she absolutely 100% was on it. Drinks never went, empty food was readily available.Hot and well set out. Now for the big question, the price, it is a bit expensive.Is it one of those things that I will do once in a while?Sure it is. The deviled eggs are definitely deviled eggs.But is fourteen dollars expensive for deviled eggs?Even if it does have a piece of candied bacon, which I'll never order again.And a jalapeno jammed in it. Not your typical burger place very upscale.
