We were visiting from Hawaii and in New Albany for a concert at the McCoy Center when my daughter and I decided to look for a sweet treat during our two-hour break. A family member recommended *Witt’s Frozen Custard*, and I’m so glad we stopped by! The shop is adorable, and the selection was so good that my daughter had a hard time deciding what to get. As usual, my experience is great! By far the best place for ice cream/custard. I saw a post from someone complaining about running out of a flavor. I think if they run out by the end of the day that’s good because you then know it always freshly made. Sort of like a bakery. Whits of New Albany….keep up the good work!
I have eaten at many of the Columbus area Whits, and the New Albany location is definitely my favorite. Friendly, smiling employees always greet you as soon as you walk in the door and the portion sizes are better than at other locations. I've heard the manager training employees, telling them to add more custard to a cup, which is good, because scoop sizes can vary depending on who is scooping!
