Excellent food, Service. They are a car hop and table service. Seating is outside.
Food was fine. Ate then go to order a root beer float before leaving. They act weird if you go up to the window to order food like they want you to sit at the table and wait for a person to come out instead of just taking the order. Had our server come back out and checked on us like she said she was going to I would have told her I wanted a flute but she never came back out I wasn't going to stand there for almost 10 minutes and wait for her to come outside to ask me what I wanted. I ended up leaving without the float. And then after looking at the receipt that's when you find out why you paid $23 for two footlongs and an onion ring. They also charge you a dollar a piece for small Waters. Which they also didn't even mention. They charge you for all of the toppings and don't even tell you! None of the price charges are the same 80 cents here, 45 cents here and 50 cents there. If you're going to charge for cheese and onions and mustard that should be on your menu or you should at least verbally tell people that at the table while you're asking them what they want on their coney. Nowhere does it tell you that they charge you for every single topping you ask for on the Coney. They also charge you for mustard that they do not put on the Coney and have available on the counter. When you get onion rings you're assuming you get a sauce right? They ask you if you want to sauce but they don't tell you that that sauce is going to be 50 cents more. What is the point of asking if we want to dine in or take out if you're just going to put all of the food in a brown paper bag and take out containers and staple it shut anyway? So you can charge us the dine-in fee too? If you're looking for a good old American hot dog stand don't stop here! They should change their name to Wot a Scam... Won't be back and won't be recommending. Just go to Jollys taste better and there isn't 7 surprise fees...
Pictured is the “Dog House burger”. It was recommend by our waitress and it was excellent. Also got the frosted mug root beer that delicious as well as crinkle fries. Not pictured was a coney dog and house ranch. The ranch was great but did have a kick to it. Will be returning.
Delicious coneys and fries the root beer was a bit flat, service was amazing
Parking can be limited depending on how busy it is. This place is similar to BK Root Beer Stand in Troy. You can either order and eat while in your car or sit next to the restaurant. There is no inside dining.
This place is one of the well-kept and clean car hop-style food places we vist, we love eating here. The staff is friendly. We enjoy coney dogs and we like trying coney dogs from other places, Wot A Dog has the best footlong coney around 😋🌭
I used to be the cook here from 2002 to 2009
when Debbie and Jack Hefner owned it
then Steve the bun guy bought it
and it all went to hell.he changed the entire menu
got rid of the flat grill..and hired people that doesn't have a clue on how to do Food Service.please for the love of God don't go to this restaurant..

The place is dated but that's what we expected for a hotdogs joing with car hops . The staff was very friendly and personable. The food was good not great . It's worth the stop if you're around the area .

Went here and tried something new. Big mistake.? Got the pork tenderloin sandwich. Not very good. It was very overcooked. If I go again, I will have to stick to the coney or burger.
