We ate at Scott’s diner yesterday for lunch. A great diner with lots of delicious food. We travel all over Ohio looking for great places to eat and we will be back. A very friendly home style diner.

Talk about a hidden gem. Small dining area great food. Portions were overwhelming ( but I ate it all).

We ate here today, August 18th, for the 1st time. Our daughter is an incoming Freshman @ Muskingum University & we needed a place to eat as the dinning hall was not open yet as of the time we were there. Oh my gosh, this place exceeded our expectations. The meals, although a bit pricey, were well worth the cost. The serving amounts were huge-our son could not finish his omelet & had to ask for a carry-out tray. I am sure we will be back for many more times!!!

Super clean, super servers & service, super Carnivore Omelette, super hash browns (portion actually too large, imho), smiles for miles. Great value! In the heart of the heart of Muskingum County.

We enjoy visiting mom and pop local places and Scott’s dinner has quickly become one of our favorite meal stops when returning from visiting family near Columbus.
We exit eastbound I-70 at the US40/22 Norwich interchange and return to the Interstate at the first exit past New Concord. US40 parallels I-70 so it’s not really going out of your way.
I usually get the cheeseburger salad daily special and my wife and her sister usually get burgers or sandwiches. Portions are plentiful so we occasionally get takeout boxes and have leftovers the next day. The food is delicious and we enjoy talking with the owners.
We also get some of their special seasoning and salad dressing to take home with us.

Scott’s Diner has become our standard lunch stop on our return trips to Virginia after visiting family in the Columbus area. It has easy access off I-70 at the US40 Norwich exit and reentry at the first exit past town so you’re not going out of your way to stop there.
I really like the huge cheeseburger salad which is a daily special and the burgers and sandwiches are also very tasty. We also stock up on their house dressing and seasoning to take home
