You'll want to jump off of I70 to stop at this charming, delicious restaurant! We were driving through on a Friday evening and stopped in around 8:00 .. no wait, and service was fast and very friendly! The gumbo was outstanding! We also had the blackened fish sandwich and crawfish étouffée ... both were well seasoned and tasty. There was live music, but we could still chat while he played (and we knew all the words!). This is worth your time to stop!
I come here with my family. It's really a nice place to get dinner. There's not a whole lot else out in New Paris. They have good barbecue, good service, sometimes they have live music. Everything is kind of deep fried southern food, but it's not bad at all.

What a cool place! Very bucolic. Staff was very friendly and could hear their laughter with each other in the background. Loved the environment and the food was great. Very generous portions. Anxious to return to try more interesting menu items. Enjoy having "not run of the mill" options!
