Never got to go here because of pricing and us always being broke, but this needs updated not cause this place is closed for good.
Stopped in bcuz it’s a new place in town that’s supposed to be more upscale. First and foremost it has nothing to do with the waitress, she was nice. When they bring bread to the table it comes with some sort of oil with seasoning, there was 3 tables seated closely and music was barely playing so we all could hear each other others conversation and we all complained about whatever the oil stuff. It just didn’t taste good at all. I ordered steak and fries and my other side was Brussel sprouts with bacon in with it. The fries came with Parmesan, not very much and it really didn’t feel like it should’ve gone together, steak was supposed to be medium rare and was rare almost blue with butter and some sort of seasoning that wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good either. The Brussel sprouts was overcooked making them taste bitter with bacon that had been prepped earlier for quick cooking and was just crumbled and thrown in like an afterthought and wasn’t even heated up. Server asked if I needed a box bcuz I didn’t eat much at all but I turned that down, no sense in suffering twice. Just paid our very overpriced bill and left. I don’t mind expensive meals at all, but the food needs to reflect the cost. Go next door to jng, you’ll get what you pay for there. I would definitely not recommend wasting your money on a place with arts and crafts for decor, and food that’s not worth half of what they charge for. This place won’t be in business for long..
I’ve heard great things about The Venue, so I was excited to try it out. While the atmosphere is nice and the service was friendly, I have to say the lunch menu left a lot to be desired. The options felt limited and a bit underwhelming compared to what I expected from a place with such a great reputation. Hopefully they consider expanding or updating the lunch offerings — I’d love to give it another shot during that time if the menu improves.
3rd time here and service was terrible, similiar experience last time but nothing like last night! We sat without water for 30min and finally had to ask, had to ask to order a drink and was never asked again it sat empty for over a hour. After food was dropped off waiter never came back to check, and we needed things. Staff was very nice but just aloof to time management and apparently the table, restaurant was not busy. Food was 3 stars too. Very very disappointed being the foodies we are and mother in-laws go to when we are in town.
Wonderful all you care to eat soup, salad & bread. Did not disappoint! Yum!!
Not sure who in our group decided to have breakfast here, but it was TERRIBLE! Should have known when we were the only people in there at 10am on Saturday.
Biscuits and gravy smelled like BO and the chicken and waffles weren't fit for my dog.
A friend and I just ate there tonight and the food was wonderful and good size portions. Very friendly waitress, and on top of things. I would highly recommend going there.
Only got take out, but the Bang Bang Shrimp for lunch was really great! Hope to be back soon.
I've eaten at $$$$ restaurants in New York, So nice restaurants in T-County is always a hope.
It took FOREVER to get our food.
My filet had been cut into, probably to see if it was done properly, so whoever cooked it must have been a novice.
Cocktails were good enough.
Our bill came to $140 or so.
I'll will give it a second chance because I really want the Scallops with Shrimp & Lobster Risotto.
Excellent management/always accommodating, great food, would recommend -

Awesome Place! Great Food! Bartender Deb is Amazing! Happy Holidays! Miss You!
This is hands down the best place I have ever eaten! The atmosphere is incredible, but what truly sets this restaurant apart are the staff—Rita and Caleb are simply the best of the best. Their genuine warmth, extensive knowledge, and friendly demeanor made our visit unforgettable.
The food? Absolutely divine! I had the Cajun Fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs, and I can't wait to come back to try everything else on the menu. The cocktails were also fantastic and perfectly crafted.
Rita and Caleb made the experience even more special, and I genuinely can't recommend this place enough. Whether it's for a date night, lunch, or dinner, this spot is perfect for any occasion. You’ll leave wanting to return again and again! Thank you, Rita and Caleb, for making our visit extraordinary!
I don't like being negative, but I won't go eat at this restaurant again. I can't in good faith leave a better review.
Positives were: good atmosphere, pleasant staff, portions were decent, buttermilk mashed potatoes were excellent, seasoned perfectly!
Bad was: bland bread, bland house spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce. I had to pick up the salt and pepper four times before I felt the food was seasoned. Reminded me of hospital food. A good meal doesn't need salt and pepper at the table.
I'm not saying don't go there. Just don't expect 4.7 stars like I did.
Delicious food, clean and relaxing environment, and great service… five stars!
