Ivy was an INCREDIBLE waitress! The food was amazing, drinks were great, and I loved the atmosphere. But Ivy was truly the reason we had such a great experience, truly she’s amazing!!
Ivy's service was top-notch! She was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely made our dining experience memorable.

My husband's sushi was great according to him. I did not care for my honey chicken, but he liked it. I am looking forward to giving the place another shot and trying a different dish.

I go there often after my work and always really like the service. It is speedy, efficient, and my food is always to the point perfect. It is my favorite restaurant in Newark and I heavily recommend it.
Always have such a positive experience coming here and the food has never disappointed me in the almost year of coming here!
My party of 6 went and we were 50/50 on our food. The general tso was great and I was able to get it without spice. Good beer selection and our server was great. Food was ok.

I'd normally give Peony five stars, but my last dinner there was not up to their norm. I usually get sushi, which is typically excellent. This time, however, my sushi was seemingly prepared by someone new to it. There was even a bone in one of the whitefish pieces--a first for me after decades of eating sushi.
Food was good. I wasn't told my order was ready so my food was just sitting on a table until I asked if my order was complete. Other than that everything was good.
This is my daughter and mine's go to Chinese and sushi restaurant period the food is fantastic The service is fantastic. It's not too expensive. My daughter loves the fresh sushi that they make right there In front of you, it's amazing. I unfortunately do not like the other Chinese restaurants in town. And when this place got on my radar, I was hesitant, but I was wrong. I love it hands down. Seriously, love it Go to this place seriously. You will not be disappointed.
If it's sushi we are after, this is the place. But if I want Chinese I like other local shops better. The chicken here is always over cooked. Dry and gristly
