Alex at the Craftsman Pub is absolutely phenomenal. I say that with true purpose. He has created the best Old Fashioned drinks I've ever experienced (the seasonal Gingerbread was one of a kind, not to forget about the Orange Old Fashioned ). Along with this creativity, he manages to bring a personal experience with his guests. He is truly one of a kind.
Just a quick note of appreciation to Alex who did an outstanding job during our entire 3 night stay!! He not only served up outstanding drink specials for my wife but waited tables as well.We were there for a Celebration of Life…. Alex worked that event as well with an overflow crowd and Alex continued to come through and helped make the occasion a joyful remembrance of our loved one!!! Thank you again Alex and Cherry Valley Hotel!!!
We have come 3 or 4 times in 2025 and have always had superb service with a smile, excellent food. Our favorite is their special Brioche French Toast! Its a must to top off any meal.
Atmosphere is romantic, elegant, with a country lodge feel. Staff is consistently friendly. Check times before you come as the restaurant has different hours throughout Monday-Thursday and weekends.
