This is a classic, unique hometown place. The home-cooked meals are truly amazing, and the service even better. The atmosphere completes the perfect dinner with nostalgic items dating back to original owners.
Best little family restaurant in Newark. The staff was attentive, the decorations were great and the food was delicious and tasty. I had the ham and bean soup w cornbread. The beans were seasoned perfectly and had lots of ham. I had the bread pudding w cream sauce. It was amazing, just perfect. Their French Onion soup was amazing! My friend got the steak and loved it. The service is excellent, the food is affordable and delicious.
