Last time I had Steak 'n Shake. It was delivery.DoorDash did it. Long story short. DoorDash hit my mailbox and my Neighbor mailbox and took off. That is why I gave one star. Steak 'n Shake should drop DoorDash from delivering there food.

Was in today to order. So I used the cash kiosk. Found out afterwards and I placed my $35 food order that it was not operational by the employee. So the employee told me that they will retake my order when THEY can get to it. So after about 10 min of waiting I left. There was absolutely no indication that I was going to get served anytime soon. So reference for all. NO CASH TO DINE IN.

First time in a long time visiting steak and shake the food was alright and the staff was friendly but completely automated def ruined the experience highly doubt we would return outside of milkshakes

foods average, they make you wait to 5 minutes to order, wait another 5 the to read you order back just to make you pull around to the front door to get your food and only service 1 car at a time. no people dining in and I was the only one in drive thru, 2 burgers no fries. if there's more than 1 car be prepared to wait 20+ min for your meal.
Lamont was awesome, we paid cash and only had a $100. they couldn't break it, so we had a $20. It was $21.84 he was gonna loan us $2.00 until I found enough change in my purse. He delivered our food to us, we would of tipped but we we didn't have any smaller cash to do so. Anyway..... Lamont should be rewarded ❤️

Before the pandemic I went to Steak and shake because of the good food but also because of how personable the staff was but now we barely get a hello and all orders are done on the screen or from the app. They call your name when it's ready and walk away. Had to scan a qr code just to get our drinks.
