Best Mexican restaurant in the area
I know this location since the previous ownership and since Tlaquepaque opened I became a frequent customer and it has always been a great experience to visit them but now that they started the weekends grilling it is even more pleasant to enjoy their food in this beautifully decorated restaurant.
I ordered food from this restaurant for pickup on DoorDash. Everything that I ordered was good. The Pizza Birria was so delicious! There was enough to share with my family. It came with a regular dipping sauce and a spicy one. I also ordered the Queso Fundido. It tasted slightly spicy but very good! The sausage paired well with the queso. The Sopapilla was a good dessert to finish the dinner with.

Tlaquepaque Tequila Mexican Restaurant is a great experience for frequent customers. The beautifully decorated restaurant is very comfortable for dining inside. The wait staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is quick. The menu options are good, and the food is good. The Pizza Birria is delicious, enough to share with family, and comes with a regular dipping sauce and a spicy one. The Queso Fundido is slightly spicy but very good, and the sausage pairs well with the queso. The Sopapilla is a good dessert, and the wet chimichamgas are recommended. The margaritas are fantastic and excellent, the tequila is good, and the desert is heavenly. The weekends grilling makes it even more pleasant. Everything arrives in a fast and timely manner. It is located in what used to be the Stonebridge Restaurant in Niles near the McKinley Library.
