“We just returned from 2 nights at Bloomfield Inn (May 23/24, 2025) and the new owners are doing a FABULOUS job of sprucing it up and ensuring their guests are happy! The inn is older but the rooms appear to be updated in really cute and chic aesthetics, both rooms we booked had kitchens and the suite had separate bedrooms and a large outdoor private deck! Everything was spotlessly clean and quiet and the inn is only a short walk to the cute shops and restaurants of Bloomfield and is in between Picton and Wellington (5-10 minute drives.) We will definitely be back!”

“Just left Brothers's Pizza and let me tell you how awesome these guys were. I was pushing closing time and didn't want to be that dude. But the crew there was insistent on keeping the oven open and made fresh Stromboli's for me to bring home to the fam after an awesome night of basketball. I remember my dad always bring home calzones and Stromboli's from Brother's back when we were kids. I've been back a couple times since as an adult and it's always impressed. The quality is amazing and the people are genuine and fantastic. Thank you, Brother's for saving me from resorting to McDonald's. I highly recommend anybody who loves supporting local to support these guys-the food is excellent. Just don't push 9 o'clock like this guy. Thanks again, Brother's!”

“By far the best food in orwell, anyone who says otherwise probably prefers circle k tornados, if you think the food is bad go see a doctor and tell them something is wrong with your tastebuds. Great atmosphere, crappy bartenders have been let go and plenty of fun for anyone anytime”

“The owner, Chet, is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He’s very fair with everyone, and treats everyone like family. Yellow Dog sits right on mosquito Lake and has the most beautiful sunsets during the summer. Sitting on the back patio, listening to entertainment, and enjoying some cold beverages, is something I look forward to every summer.”

“I only gave 4 stars on food because I like my eggs fried hard ... they almost had them hard ... the yoke was still moist but not runny so I was able to eat it ! Portions are big for my appetite. Every waitress ive had is attentive and polite. I really like the new updates. Its very pretty .”

“1st time ordering and did on line order,I came in at pick up time and they didn't know about order,they were nice and the dish is ordered in half pineapple and it was so spicy my wife couldn't eat it,now description said banana peppers which she can do but some unknown spice in it wasn't good, I myself liked it but it was very spicy. “Not the biggest selection of alcohol but they have friendly staff, and great food. I would recommend them as a passerby or someone who bar hops. I would rate higher, but thing that limits me is the amount of alcohol choices... but the price per shot is very cheap. You could have 5-10 shots of whatever for about $25 + tips.”

“Love this place but EVERYTIME we come here the new owner has raised the prices! $9.49 for the lunch special?! It was $5.99 then $6.99 then $7.49 but now $2 more?! Seems like they have lost a ton of customers since Dave (the Great!) owned it. The steak is dry not juicy like it used to be. I have tried to talk with the owner twice but apparently out of town and not usually here like Dave was. Pretty soon we won’t be able to afford to come here!”

“Gionino's has the best pizza around. We used to live in Edinburg and got their pizza all the time. Now we live in Jefferson. I was so excited when they opened one in Orwell. I have no problem driving 20 minutes for good pizza. Nobody can compete with their sauce. I even get extra. Kudos to the young man working by himself on a Friday night. He was handling it like a pro. I will be back often.👏”

“Best pizza we’ve had in a very long time. Delicious taste and plenty for the price.
Crust is fantastic and if you’re like us, we like reheating the leftovers to a nice crispness.
Just as good the next day for dinner!
Service and atmosphere are a small bar. Not much to say.
I think the place could add on a separate small dining room and make a killing.

“Ordered from them on April 13, 2024 and our food never showed up. We ended up ordering from Capps. The food was great. They now will get all our business not just some.”
