“We just returned from 2 nights at Bloomfield Inn (May 23/24, 2025) and the new owners are doing a FABULOUS job of sprucing it up and ensuring their guests are happy! The inn is older but the rooms appear to be updated in really cute and chic aesthetics, both rooms we booked had kitchens and the suite had separate bedrooms and a large outdoor private deck! Everything was spotlessly clean and quiet and the inn is only a short walk to the cute shops and restaurants of Bloomfield and is in between Picton and Wellington (5-10 minute drives.) We will definitely be back!”

The live musicians are always fun, engaging, and happy to accommodate requests from the crowd. The new addition to the building for seating is wonderful. “The food is always great, and your order is usually done in 20 minutes. It's a family run place and we always love getting take out from here.

Vegetarian options: They have a whole list of steamed vegetables and rice, also 1 soup I believe. Tofu is another option across the menu and I believe they use canola oil for frying.

Dietary restrictions: Low calorie options and sauce on the side options for most dishes.”

“The owner, Chet, is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He’s very fair with everyone, and treats everyone like family. Yellow Dog sits right on mosquito Lake and has the most beautiful sunsets during the summer. Sitting on the back patio, listening to entertainment, and enjoying some cold beverages, is something I look forward to every summer.”

“Excellent local place! Feels like home, if your home was always busy because people loved your food! Parking is a little bit tricky at times. Food was delicious, service was great despite being so busy. Would definitely recommend if you're around the Mosquito Lake area.”

“Not the biggest selection of alcohol but they have friendly staff, and great food. I would recommend them as a passerby or someone who bar hops. I would rate higher, but thing that limits me is the amount of alcohol choices... but the price per shot is very cheap. You could have 5-10 shots of whatever for about $25 + tips.”

“Certainly what I would expect to see in Mexico, complete with Cantina bar. Food good, although I'm used to hot corn tortillas. Ordered 1 chicken and one beef taco with corn taco, came with beans and rice. The usual appetizer of chips with salsa and coleslaw. Pretty good with a chunky salsa. Overall was good.”

“check your food before you leave. I love capps food but I am done supporting this business. I ordered a taco salad. They are now over $13. I asked for no olives because I'm allergic. I asked twice for no olives. I got home and it had more olives then chips. for $13 I atleast expect to get taco meat on the salad. but there was none!!!!! so I got extra olives not even more then a sprinkle. I will NOT support a business who rips their customers off like this. or complete a simple order. I cannt even eat it with the olives either.”

“Love this place but EVERYTIME we come here the new owner has raised the prices! $9.49 for the lunch special?! It was $5.99 then $6.99 then $7.49 but now $2 more?! Seems like they have lost a ton of customers since Dave (the Great!) owned it. The steak is dry not juicy like it used to be. I have tried to talk with the owner twice but apparently out of town and not usually here like Dave was. Pretty soon we won’t be able to afford to come here!”

“Gionino's has the best pizza around. We used to live in Edinburg and got their pizza all the time. Now we live in Jefferson. I was so excited when they opened one in Orwell. I have no problem driving 20 minutes for good pizza. Nobody can compete with their sauce. I even get extra. Kudos to the young man working by himself on a Friday night. He was handling it like a pro. I will be back often.👏”

“I went in last night. It was close to closing time. They probably only had 15 minutes left. I grabbed an ice cream cake and I needed them to draw a mouse on it. The girl asked the guy to draw it while she took a few orders from drive thru and he was worried and saying it looked bad but dawgggg this was the best mouse I’ve ever seen. The person who the cake was for asked how they did it so well. So although I didn’t catch their names, this was the best cake decorating I’ve ever seen. 10/10 thanks for putting up with my shenanigans”

“The food was AMAZING and I normally can't stand Dairy Queen's food. 😫 I ordered the Barbecue Bacon Ranch double cheeseburger combo and a small Oreo Blizzard. Everything was on point. Maybe it's just this particular one in Orwell, OH. that has better food... I dont know”
