This place is FABULOUS! Me and my hubby frequent here QUIET often, it’s one of our FAV places to eat when we are in the area. Food is ALWAYS SPOT ON and top notch! Austin the manager is phenomenal with balancing customer service and being very hands on.

Where do I start? I initially applied for Slim Chickens, but was offered a position of general manager at Freddys. The interview process was fine. I was asked to drive an hour away from home just to check the restaurant out. I did that, training started at the Akron location, which I thought went well and the general manager, there was a great leader and teacher after two weeks they relocated me to the Canton restaurant where I was told I would be taking over after training was complete however the manager in charge of training was not interested in teaching me anything I had asked many times to be taught. He showed no interest on top of that, The assistant manager thought it was cool to micromanage and treat me as if I was a young child. he was very disrespectful while they neglected to train me or treat me with any respect they did manage to find time to mess around doing push-up contest in the lobby and treating the job as a joke. I worked 10 hour shifts and had to drive an hour there then an hour home. . No compensation was given for driving 600 miles a week. I had to work a part-time job on my day off just to afford gas to get to the Akron, Canton stores . I was salaried but never received full pay for all the hours I had worked for this company. I got sick shortly after Thanksgiving and ended up in the hospital, which ended my position because the district manager, Jason Fired me even though I let him know I was sick. when it came to picking up my check that was the worst experience in my life. Jason made it almost impossible at every turn. I was never told I had to return the shirt that I had so I drove an hour expecting to pick up my check which sadly they did not give me. Secondly, I no longer had the shirt so I had to pay him for the uniform, which was fine but he overcharged me. I paid $25 for one shirt that I had. If you ask me, this is been the worst experience of my life. Please do not work for this company. They have a high turnover rate and don’t care for their employees I was lied to by Jason T about the environment. I was entering please avoid this company at all cost .There were so many red flags that I overlooked because I was given false information. Do not eat there or apply for employment there, you’ll regret your decision.

OMG! First time here. We tried the California burger and it was the best burger we have tasted in a long time. Very flavorful! This is now our go to place for burgers.

First time here. Asked for a plan cheeseburger and it came out with pickles and mustard. I politely took it back and they gave it back with the pickles removed and stilled mustard on it. They look like they just took a napkin and wiped it off which I could have done but that’s not what I paid 10 dollars for. Very rude. Man in back was making jokes about us on the headset and she told us he was. All the tables were also dirty. Overall very rude experience never going back

How much is “manager Austin” paying for these fake reviews? NO ONE writes a review and refers to the manager by name. Unless they’re complaining about this absolutely awful location. If you scroll through the fake reviews, you’ll find the legit ones. The ones were people talk about highlights such as:

- waiting forever in the drive thru with no other cars in sight

- watching other cars leave the drive thru out of frustration

- finally getting your order only to find that it’s completely wrong

- going inside to experience a disgusting, dirty dining area

If you’re driving through the area, do yourself a favor and AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Or go one time (you won’t go back). Please leave a bad review to try and combat the countless fake reviews Austin is paying
