Via Roma Event Center & Restaurant

We ordered the spare ribs it were very tender, a bottle of moscato (one of the best moscatos I’ve had), truffle fries which were supper crunchy and chicken linguini. Everything was delicious! The staff were very welcoming and brought everything out fast. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant! You won’t regret it.

We went to Via Roma with a party of 10 to watch Valerie's Dueling Pianos in The Grotto. Valerie's put on an amazing high energy performance and the VR team was great! Alecia, Ilyana, and Heather took great care of us and were very attentive. Will definitely be back next time Valerie's performs.

The day I toured the Grand Ballroom, I knew I had to have my wedding reception here! We met with Khadar, who was PHENOMENAL. We loved how much he emphasized customization in regards to menu selections. Throughout the planning process, Jen was so on top of everything and quick to respond!

We started off cocktail hour in The Grotto- I loved the more intimate vibe! When we moved to the Grand Ballroom for the reception, the decor was absolutely STUNNING and everything I was hoping for and more! The food was DELICIOUS and so many guests told us how good everything was, especially our late night snacks. Service was efficient, and the bartenders were so much fun! We had the absolute BEST time thanks to Khadar, Jen, and the rest of the Via Roma team!

I attended a repast after a memorial service.

Definitely a fancy atmosphere! Amazing food! I had dietary restrictions and the chef personally made sure it was done to order. They went out of their way to help! Amazing staff. Great place and just over all such a peaceful place to host any event!

I went to the Grotto in the basement to hear a singer. There was no other way to get there but by 3 flights of stairs. So my friend who is physically disabled couldn't attend! There are no affordable food choices on the menu. Just forewarning everyone. Also extremely limited non alcoholic beverages so I had to drink water. I purchased a prosciutto and cheese flatbread for $18. Absolutely no taste to it whatsoever. None! Was all dough! It's very dark in there and the music was way too loud for such a small place. The only redeeming thing was that our server gave real good service.

We had our class reunion here and it was fantastic. They were so accommodating with tablecloths and napkins matching our school colors, cupcakes in our school colors, easels for displays etc, .

If you haven’t been to Via Roma Event Center & Ristorante in North Royalton yet, you are seriously missing out. The food was phenomenal, the service was amazing, and the entire restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It’s huge, super clean, spacious, and has the perfect mix of old-world Italian charm with modern touches. The downstairs grotto is such a cool experience, and they also host live music, comedy shows, and different events throughout the year. You can tell a lot of love and work went into bringing this place to life. Let’s support this local gem and make sure North Royalton keeps places like this around for years to come! ❤️🍝🎶

Our company hosts dinner events for prospects at Via Roma and we are very happy with our experience here. Nick, the event coordinator, is great to work with making things easy and is very accommodating. Inhouse staff has always been great and the food is deliscious.

Took my girl here for Valentine’s Day ! The pop up grotto was incredible! Aaron did a fantastic job at making our specialty drinks ! Such a cool presentation and he was so hospitable and professional. The mushroom sachets was out of this world ! We’re coming back for Cleveland keys and can’t wait!

After working in the service industry for many years and understanding how much can go wrong, I have a hard time writing anything negative about a restaurant. However, I can’t ignore that we spent $172 before tip (including a $58 bottle of wine) on Valentine’s Day and left feeling very disappointed.

Starting with the positives:
-The arancini appetizer was delicious.
-The bread was fantastic, although we did have to request it since it wasn’t brought out initially.
-My entrée, the stuffed gnocchi with crispy chicken, was very good.
-Our waitress was kind, apologetic, and clearly working extremely hard to manage issues that did not seem to be her fault.

Unfortunately, there were several problems with timing and food quality. Our rosemary truffle fries, which were meant to come with our entrées, arrived before my husband’s soup and were severely overcooked. My husband’s veal parmesan with white sauce pasta was genuinely not good. The breading on the veal was off, and the pasta had such a strong, unusual flavor that it wasn’t edible. The only way I can describe it is that it tasted like star anise.

There were also noticeable coordination issues. Courses came out of order, and none of our plates (appetizer, soup, bread plates, bread basket, etc.) were cleared at any point, despite visits from food runners, our waitress, and the gentleman refilling water. It created a cluttered and uncomfortable dining experience.

We observed another couple speaking with who appeared to be a manager about similar concerns. The manager later visited our table but did not ask how our meal was. It felt as though he may have already known there were issues.

Despite everything, my husband and I tried to laugh off the logistical problems and enjoy our evening. Had it not been Valentine’s Day, I likely would have addressed these concerns while we were there. The overall experience did not feel reflective of the price point, and unfortunately we would not return or recommend it.

For context, the restaurant did not appear overwhelmingly busy for a holiday. The issues seemed more related to communication, staffing, or general logistics than volume.
