“Highly recommended, family owned Guatemalan restaurant! I have been here a few times for carry out but dined in the other day and the service was excellent. They have tamales available. We got the chicken tamales to go. Try the atole de elote (warm corn drink with cinnamon and spices); it will warm and nourish you on a cold day. The carne asada was well cooked and comes with rice, pasta salad and refried beans. You can choose either tamalitos or tortillas de maseca, as an accompaniment to your dish. Pepian de gallina was very tasty and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Make sure to add some of the salsa to your food. It adds an extra level of flavor. The friendly, attentive service and delicious food makes this a place to return.“

“How good are these you ask? While letting my empanadas cool I turned my back for five seconds and turned around to an empty plate. “Odd…” I thought, as I was the only one home at the time. And then I heard it, the sound of my dog scarfing down steaming hot empanadas! I called my dog a lot of names this day, with words I typically try not to use… in English and Spanish! Once the dog had cleared the crime scene I looked at what was left and tried to remember the specifics of the 5 second rule and its subsection on dog slobber. Ultimately I determined the entirety of my meal a loss. But they’re good enough I seriously considered it!“

“We wandered in here late on a Sunday night from the hotel across the street and heard this place was good (ironically from the Ramen place that had run out of noodles). They had run out of ingredients for the Cuban sandwich my hubby had wanted and the guy was super apologetic. We decided to share the Who Dey bowl--delicious!--and even gave us a free beef empanada to make up for the Cubano. Super kind and really great service. Highly recommend!“
