great food, good value. very friendly
This is definitely a great transition that has occurred with Kozy Corners. The breakfast burrito was superb when we had came in for breakfast. Tonight we went for dinner and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was amazing and food was quick to come out and delicious. Will definitely be coming back and glad that they are now going to be up for dinner. 😊
First time to visit was today. The place was busy but the service was top notch, barely a wait. The coleslaw was probably the best I’ve ever had! I ordered the shrimp basket with fries, I took 1/2 home with me because there must have been 24 2” shrimp in that basket. We will return when we’re in the area. Oak Harbor is fortunate to have such a good restaurant with extremely good prices.

Kozy Corners is a family owned and operated restaurant located in Oak Harbor, Ohio for over 50 years. In 2025, the Sanchez family purchased the restaurant and has kept it operating. It closes at 2:00 pm daily and at 3:00 pm reopens as a Mexican restaurant, open till 9:00 pm. They offer typical American fare (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and now a Mexican fare. Their big guest in 2012, President Barack Obama, stopped and visited. Their pies are homemade and very tasty. There are daily specials and the food is home cooked.
The food is amazing. You can taste the love and passion put into every dish. Everything is super clean and inviting. Kozy's has experienced a remarkable transformation, bringing real Mexican dishes back to Oak Harbor. The breakfast burrito was superb. Chorizo scrambled eggs, refried beans and home fries were enjoyed. Hubs had 2 huge pancakes, sausage & eggs, typical Oak Harbor diner fare executed very well. Both breakfasts were fairly priced and plentiful. The interior has been refreshed with a calm light blue gray paint, cream curtains, farmhouse wallpaper and tasteful Mexican pictures. The 50's mural has retired. There are plenty of counter seats. There is easy parking onsite. The customer service is normally always nice. You get a welcoming, community feel. The staff always greet you and make you feel welcome. The food is always pretty good. Kozy Corners is starting to spice up that menu and it is delicious.
