Good lunch specials

East of Chicago in Oberlin used to be great & I would order at least once or twice a week, now under new ownership it's terrible and I've tried a couple times. They have doubled the prices of several food items, while portion sizes have gone down as has taste, and the delivery fee has also doubled. My foldover had hardly any toppings inside and used to be large and packed, the sauce they switched to for dipping went from a delicious chunky marinara that seriously tasted homemade to cheap tomato paste that is terrible, and worst of all for me one of my favorites - the Fiesta for Two Nacho Salad - used to be delicious and cost $3.99, was large, had plenty of beef, cheese, sour cream, onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, olives, lettuce not just over the chips but throughout and layered below. Well, now it is $7.99 - basically $8, way smaller than before, and was practically entirely dry chips. Disgusting. No sour cream, a drizzle of cheese, a few pieces of beef, mostly lettuce and jalapenos - and not even many of those. I ate a few chips that had toppings off the top and am posting a picture of what was left that I couldn't eat, as well as a photo of what it used to look like and what they advertise. What a waste of money! And disappointment when you're hungry. They were my favorite pizza place around Oberlin for years, but now I am done with them. The new owner is dirt cheap and only cares about the bottom line, has raised prices ridiculously, cutting portions, and doesn't care about quality, taste, or retaining customers.

Great pizza and super friendly staff! I love the tower and the taco pizza. This location is one of the best in the area, so if you have never had east of Chicago from this location you really should give it a second chance.

One of my favorite places for good Pizza. So much better than dominos. And try their taco pizza really delicious and different. Reasonable prices and nice staff. And they do deliver

This place has a lot of strange and interesting pizzas. They specialize in pizzas with a lot of toppings. The toppings tend to come in diced cubes and chunks. The crust tends to be fairly thick, and the pizzas here tend to be on the heavy side. It is not overtly super-greasy, but I get the vibe that the food here is probably pretty far on the unhealthy side, even as pizzas go. In my opinion, Lorenzo's pizza just up the road is a lot better. This stuff is perfectly edible, though.
