Everything is way too sweet. They added sugar in literally everything. Terrible food. We ordered the chicken and broccoli and General Tso chicken dinner that’s supposed to come with broccoli and I had a note on there for extra broccoli. They gave me two little pieces of broccoli (pathetic). Even the broccoli was coated with unbearable sweetness. I also got lo mein noodles with my dinner instead of rice and they came plain but sugary without brown sauce as I’m used to seeing them. Also, the crab Rangoon was very disappointing. Way too sweet it’s not supposed to be a dessert. I will give them props for putting a decent amount of filling in it, but it was just nauseating how sweet everything was. I do not recommend this place at all and I’m never going here again.

We've been coming to this place for years. It was the best Chinese food we've ever eaten. Went in a couple days ago and noticed the Crab Rangoon tasted different, the Orange Chicken and Szechuan Chicken was very bland. What happened? We left very disappointed and will not finish our leftovers. Sorry Mandarin, we will not eat here again.

Grew up in this area my whole life, Mandarin is a wonderful establishment! Came in today after having a rough day/week & the staff was extremely kind, compassionate & made me feel so much better! Food is excellent & service is top notch! Today we ordered Gen Tao's Chicken, Veggie Mai Fun&Hunan Chicken. Absolutely delicious!

The Mandarin is the best Chinese restaurant in Lorain County. General Tso Chicken, Pineapple shrimp and lo mein are very delicious.

The food was good. But unhappy about how it said dine in. It is you could order and then you could go sit down. The people were really nice but they really need to open it up the way it used to be. You cannot have hot tea in the Chinese restaurant that is not a Chinese restaurant. They need to go back the way it used to be. Every place else is opening it up the way it used to be I do not understand why it is not like that. But of course the food I thought was very good could have been warmer.

Food is definitely improving, was terrible just after ownership change.True rating is between 3 and 4 but it's our local Chinese place and I'll defend that 4.Be certain to remember you order, the previous owner knew you and knew your order. This group needs you to repeat the order. We wish them well!

No waitresses. We were the only customers. You order and pay at the front desk. Food is delivered to your table on a plastic tray. You get your own utensils and water. Food tasted like it was warmed over from yesterday.. We don’t plan on returning.Parking: Parked in front

First time but will be back for sure! Great food! Definitely should try it at least once.

Was awesome until just recently, something changed... hot and sour soup was the best... no longer.... Generals chicken seemed like precooked buffet food with old oil flavor...

The best General Tso chicken in Lorain County. Also try the Yu Xiang pork for something different but delicious. I usually order off of the lunch menu for take out only. Their fried rice is also good; not oily and good flavor. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. Spice level is 1-4 with 1 being the least spicy and 4 being probably way too hot for the average person. I personally like the 2 level; plenty of heat and flavor without the pain.

Only take out due to lack of help, however, they let you use the dining area to eat. The food was a 10+ hot and delicious.Just have to tolerate styrofoam and plastic which makes cleanup a breeze.

Used to be a fairly good place. Now I think there are new owners or chef. Good selections on the menu. However, it is waaaaay too salty! Can't eat it. Quit with the salt.

Ordered take out from here and it was subpar. I got the orange chicken. And it lacked sauce and the chicken was rubbery. Total let down for a $15 dollar dish. The hot and sour soup was decent. My wife ordered the Chicken Chow Mein. I don’t know what she received. There were no noodles in the dish and it had a bunch of clear liquid in it. We will never order from here again.Response from owner makes little sense: Chow Mein is noodles. The definition of Mein means noodles. We did not receive Chicken Chow Mein. Not sure what we got. Also I would have loved the chicken to be crispy. It was rubbery (most likely from being old and recooked). Also the dish should have had a fair amount of sauce. There was very little.
