Was looking for a spot to stop on our way to PA. Found this along the way but it was solid. I wouldn't say it was the best food I ever had but it was good and lots of variety for my family. We went with 2 young children and were easily able to appease their pickiness.
Since it was lunch I didn't try any cocktails but they sounded delicious.
Would recommend the stinky tator tots.

When I arrived at 4pm there were only a few tables occupied. At 4:20 the waitress took my order - a cheeseburger with a side of their house tater tots. Around 20 minutes later when others who arrived after me were receiving their meals, I was told that there was an issue with my burger and it was being redone. Fifteen minutes later my plate arrived with a side of fries instead of the ordered tots. At this point I had been sitting for almost an hour and just wanted to eat, so I declined having my plate corrected. The funniest part of the evening - was when the waitress made a point to advise that I couldn’t cover her tip from the gift card I was using to pay for my dinner! ?

They made the best Manhattan that I have ever had. It was such a pleasure to go somewhere that knows how to make a cocktail. We had a burger and the Turkey Rueben. Everything was wonderful. Service was very good. We don't live in the area but highly recommend. We stopped by the Movie Theater after and the whole experience was wonderful. Oberlin is a gem.

Food was good fresh cut fries were not hot but luke warm but edible, alittle on the pricey side waitress was attentive but she was running around being it was so busy. It has a brunch menu that changes daily and an upstairs, only thing really bad about it the stairs going down to the basement to use the restroom are extremely dangerous for someone older because of how steep they are. And at bottom of stairs you a have a toliet on either side with a wash basin in middle. I understand it's an old building but I think who designed this needs to create a safer staircase. Not sure it had railings.

When I walked in, I was a little confused if they were open or not. However, I was pleased with my decision to stay. The atmosphere is a warm yet modern style. Very comfortable to just relax and enjoy your food and a drink for a while. The wait staff is very kind and willing to help you with your questions. They dont pretend (or don't seem to pretend) to be anything but who they are. To me, that is as important as the atmosphere. There is a bartender that is on the larger side (no offense to him) he was amazing. He makes great cocktails, and He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to the beers they have on tap. He also helped me figure out a sauce that would go well with their portobello mushroom sandwich. The food was beautiful and well portioned. It was as delicious as it looked on the plate. I recommend giving this place a try.
