Oberlin is the worst wends in the entire state of Ohio.
Consistently way too slow. Not just sometimes, or just certain days.. clearly understaffed, undertrained, or complacent. Only Wendy's near oberlin, so hopefully this changes..

Terrible service, employees were rude, no ice, no ketchup, no spoons, no napkins, the tables were dirty, the trash was over flowing, and you were only allowed to pay with cash in the drive through but no signs anywhere saying that. Employees were using fowl language.

Ordered our food in the drive through and and then sat at the window and waited almost 15 min and nobody opened the window to take our payment or anything. Did not even acknowledge we were there. We left without food.

Absolutely horrible experience, they have no friggin idea what they are doing. Took food 30 minutes to come out. Told us half there shit was out and was rude about it as if we we're supposed to know. ALL OF THE BURGERS WE'RE PINK, All of them had the wrong condiments and toppers the French Fries were legitimately stale. Chicken Nuggets we're all cold all the French Fries were cold as hell and they gave us a spicy chicken sandwich instead of a regular one and of top of that they screamed about it being a huge "$41 order" that ain't that big and all these comments about understaffed theie was like 2 cars at a time slowish pace at night with like 8 workers absolutely horrible.

I just wanted to grab some food, the website said open until 1AM and it’s the only place even open on my drive home from Cleveland without having to get off the highway got there at about 12:25 and sat there for 10 minutes being completely ignored they did not even greet me which is unacceptable I tried calling the store no answer. Drove another 30 minutes to Norwalk went to Taco Bell service was 10 out of 10. I come to this Wendy’s about once a week but now you have lost a loyal customer who is patient and understanding of short staffed a couple people doing multiple jobs I get it but I will never return to this location I might not even go to other locations I don’t want you to have my support as a business fix this store and do better district manager/general manager!!!

The worker at the window didn't get my order right or give me the paper 📜 with my order on it and they didn't serve me with a smile and made me feel not welcomed and they made me Waite 1h and 18 minutes for my food I can't believe they made me Waite and they didn't do it with other people and they didn't pack it right and let it leck in the bag I was not happy with any of it

Went here tonight after work got here at 1140 and was told that there is a limit of 2 burgers per car no frosties no chili very disappointed how are you missing the things you are known for and to top it all off didnt get any ice in my lemonades my bacon on my fries was not cut up and my burgers was under cookeddo not recommend

The owner should be so ashamed of this place! Last time we stopped by, I asked for a plain bacon cheeseburger and it literally only had bacon and cheese.. no burger the fries were obviously old and barely warm. I excused that. Tonight we went around 745pm. Inside is closed which should be no surprise to me. I can’t remember ever seeing it open in the evening… even though there is always 5 or 6 cars waiting in the drive thru. Drive thru takes so long that the guy in front of me leaves. Lady taking my order is clearly thrilled to work for Wendy’s…first thing she says is “Just so you know, only 2 sandwiches per vehicle”… ummm what!?!?!? Not even a hello before that rude comment! I then ask for the browns meal with a Chocolate frosty. Response? “We ain’t got no chocolate frosty tonight”. So i order myself and my son 2 biggie bags instead (thank goodness my husband wasn’t in the car or one of us wouldn’t have been allowed to eat… per the above statement). So we pull forward to the window. Lady at the window looked as thrilled as she sounded about her job. She hands me 2 drinks faster than I can grab them and when I ask which one is coke she rudely responds “Its obviously marked”. Again, I let it go. I stated “oh, you don’t have any ice for the drinks?” Response: “Nope”. Ok. Well at this point I have a hungry kiddo and I’ve already paid, I guess it is what it is. Then, she slings the bag out the window and I take my food. I checked it and would have went back in and returned it all, EXCEPT THE INSIDE IS CLOSED. I’m not waiting 20 more minutes in the drive thru. So. I guess this Wendy’s location got the last donation from my pockets. I won’t be back. My sandwich was a mess. My son’s bun was literally rock hard. Fries.. old, barely warm and hard. Nuggets.. cold. Unbelievable. With all of the cars waiting at the drive thru and the wait time, I have a hard time understanding how this could be so terrible and food not fresh??? Looks like the owner needs to spend a little time at his store in the evening and see what’s actually happening. Best thing about this Wendy’s is how pretty the building looks from the outside. (Except for all of the signs taped to the inside of the drive thru windows that are clearly legible for customers to see telling employees what NOT to do… appears that the owner knows there’s an issue… exactly how big? That’s up to them to figure out). So I guess stop in if you are willing to brave it….Probably be better off popping over to Walmart for some bread and PB & J though!

Always have an issue with this Wendy's. Don't ever go when they are "short staffed". Which seems to be a lot. Went here tonight because it was close and convenient. After having to take a 20 min detour just to get there I was refused service because they told me there was a 2 sandwich limit. I don't see how a family of 4 can eat off 2 sandwiches. Not the first time either. I asked them why and they refused to answer. Instead I got a snobby response of "You can just leave the line then." No explanation, no apologies, no regard for the customer. Terrible customer service. I went to McDonalds, who were also short staffed by the way, and had a totally different experience. I'm not even a fan of McDonald's food but beats the trash they hire at Wendy's. You don't want to work then get a different job. Sad how crappy this Wendy's treats their customers. The customer is the reason you have a job. DON'T GO HERE.

This location is a joke. First my husband had to wait 30 mins before his order got taken with only 3 vehicles in front of him, then it took another 10 for him to get the food. They asked him multiple times at the window what his order was AFTER he already placed it AND they still got it wrong. We stopped going to this location a while back because service sucked and the food was always cold or they weren’t open even though their hours said they were. Nothing has changed.
They bumped my order off the screen soon after I used the in store order screen for carryout and went to the restroom. A simple 6 piece nugget and a small frosty and I watch another order pop up and get completed, I remained patient with my order still in progress per the screen and yet it was not. A young man who appeared to be starting a shift saw me and without asking brought my order back up and made my frosty, while another male who was there already, now looked at the screen behind him, beside the whale at the drive thru, and brought my order back to the screen and bagged my 6 piece nuggets. He asked where the ghost ranch sauce was bc that was my sauce of choice, and with an attitude the young rude lady working drive thru says that they were out of ghost pepper sauce and don't have any coming in. I choose bbq, get my order and leave never voicing my irritation because I'd wasted enough time of my work break. I get in the car and low and behold all of my nuggets were dry, tasteless and not even hot. My 3rd and last time stopping in that location I'll definitely starve before being subjected to that again.

WOW!!!! WHAT A P.OS. OF TEAM INCLUDING THE MANAGER! MADE A ONLINE MOBILE ORDER, WENT TO PICK IT UP, IT WASNT THERE. WENT TO THE COUNTER WAITING 5/10 MINUTES NO ONE ACKNOWLOGED I WAS STANDING THERE HENCE WALKING PASS ME MULTIPLE TIMES, THEY WASNT BUSY. A GUY CAME IN BEHIND ME, SAME THING HAPPENED, HE WENT UP TO THE COUNTER COMPLAINING ASKING WHAT THE FOOD WAS ON THE COUNTER, THEY LOOK AT IT TO CONFIRM IT WITH HIM, HE SAID THAT WAS THE CORRECT ORDER, REMIND YOU SHE JUST THREW IT DOWN AND WALKED AWAY BUT I KNEW IT WASNT MY ORDER. STILL IGNORING ME AND WALKS AWAY. I STARTED YELLING AND CUSSING ASKING WHERE THE F MY FOOD WAS AND THAT NO ONE CAN DO THEIR JOB TO MAKE EYE CONTACT OR SAY WE WILL BE WITH YOU SHORTLY. I HAVE LOTS OF RESPECT AND PATEINCE WITH PEOPLE, IT TAKES ALOT TO P ME OFF, I WAS LIVID!! THEY WENT TO GET THE MANAGER, HE DIDNT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING, MY ORDER DIDNT GO THRU, HE COULDNT FIND IT, I SHOWED HIM PROOF OF MY CONFIRMATION, TRYING TO TELL ME ITS NOT THERE, I SAID HERE IS THE EMAIL COMFIRMATION AND WENDYS COMFIRMATION FROM THE WEBSITE WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED, I PAID FOR THE FOOD AND IM NOT LEAVING HERE WITHOUT IT. HE FINALLY FOUND IT AND TOLD THE CREW TO MAKE MY FOOD. BURGERS WAS COLD, FRIES LOOKED LIKE THEY WAS COOKED A WEEK AGO, COMPLETLEY DRIED OUT AND BROWN. I WORKED CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR 30 YEARS THIS WAS UNREAL AND UNBELIEVABLE! I TRIED CALLING COOPERATE AND IT JUST RINGS AND RINGS AND HANGS UP. I WILL NEVER, I REPEAT, NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANOTHER WENDYS!!!! AND TO READ ALL THE REVIEWS, ITS UNFORTUNATE FOR THEIR BUSINESS, JOKES ON THEM!
