Best restaurant in Oberlin. I’m so glad they opened this location. Food is top notch and authentic. Pho, banh mi, fried rice, shrimp rolls, boba, etc. The owner is amazing too -

Very happy to have Ying’s in the neighborhood! We ordered the veg rice noodle bowl, shrimp rice bowl, and the scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious and very fresh. Excited to try the bahn mi next time! Service was friendly. We will definitely be making Ying’s a regular spot :)

This is my second try at Yings, and food has not improved. This is a place trying to serve Vietnamese food....it is nothing close to Vietnamese. Changing extra if you don't have cash. Pass on this place!

First time here today, best chicken fried rice I have had... but the 28 minute wait time after the order was placed was ridiculous for lunch. There was 2 cooks ones arm was in a sling to 1.5. And one server/host/busser.. so way understaffed.The restaurant was clean and well kept but the service times are horrible. If yoy need ro eat and run skip this spot for the time you have 2 hours to waste.Vegetarian options: Several vegan options on the menu.

Glad to see the original Mandarin owner started a new chapter in the food business.The menu for me however needs some crispy chicken or tempora chicken of some kind be it general tso, honey garlic chicken or any other number of dishes that can be done with crispy chicken or tempora chicken as I don't see much on the menu I'd order in all honesty.I like the fact they carry both Pepsi and Coke products, but a regular diet option for both would be nice, aside from that 'sweet and low' for tea and maybe honey crystals for tea would be nice.

In only its first weeks of operation, Ying's has proven itself to have authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, the first to offer it in Oberlin. The owners were gracious, the atmosphere inviting, the menu was extensive, and the food was exactly what we'd hope for. I wish them a long and prosperous life!

Get carryout for lunch to try it out and will definitely be back. We had the shrimp summer rolls, scallion pancake, classic banh mi, and the house fried rice. Ever dish was fresh and delicious.

The owner lady is very nice. The food was excellent and a good addition to Oberlins options. My wife and I had the P2 option for Pho, which was delicious. Will be back again.
