I didn’t expect to see this gem while on a long roadtrip! I was just looking for lunch and thank God I didn’t stop at the Taco Bell. Place was actually open pretty early for bbq too. The hot Nashville sandwich hit all the right notes. I’d recommend grabbing a fork though, there’s a lot of weight to it and my bottom bun didn’t make it yo the end. I’ll definitely stop back next time I’m out that way!
This is the nicest Old Carolina that I've ever visited. It was very clean, plenty of seating, great interior design and there was even a fireplace! The staff was very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. There's glass that allows you to see into the cooking area where they slow the cook the meat. The drink/sauce station was well designed too.
Excellent meal. But the way the young lady at the counter helped a hearing impaired couple was above and beyond. She even told them she would bring out their meal since they would not hear their number. Good Job!!
