Kofenya is easily the most overrated shop in Oxford. They have great coffee and a great selection. Their food on the other hand is very limited and very inconsistent in portion sizes.
UPDATE
Their breakfast burritos are so salty. Like insanely salty where you get uncomfortable.

Don’t order the egg wrap….. it doesn’t have any eggs in it and when I complained it was cold /undercooked they looked at me like I was the problem but did make a new one and it was well cooled but still no sign of eggs

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese, and an iced americano with pumpkin syrup. You have to toast your own bagels, there’s a toaster on the right side of the counter. Unfortunately, they were out of plastic knives, so I used a spoon to spread the cream cheese. Overall, it was delicious and very convenient. Total for a coffee + syrup and a bagel was only $6.39! I didn’t know they made prices like that anymore

Great coffee. Fast service. Very nice place to hang out and enjoy the morning.
Students everywhere no room for public rude staff seating is limited not quiet priced way too high for the quality of items. Worse coffee in my opinion in town.
My favorite place ever. I go here everyday, but I have celiac and they NEVER have gluten free bread or banana bread! I used to get their avocado toast everyday and now I can't. :(

I was visiting and popped on for an iced coffee and it was great! The place was adorable and super fast. Good stuff and cool place.
I really enjoy the vibe of this place; it's really a great spot to get homework done and just relax. The baked goods I've had are okay. The cinnamon roll has been the best by far, but the drinks are where I'm really disappointed. Every drink I've had, except for the very first one, were gross. I've tried getting a matcha a couple times, and I don't believe they make it properly. The drink is always way more grainy than it should be which seems like they're not properly mixing it before adding milk. I tried getting a caramel apple cider, and what I got was a chai? I've gave this place a shot several times now, and I think I'll just stop going back.
Great coffee....place to sit and relax or sit and catch up with friends or sit and work...over a cup of coffee. Breakfast is also available
Please update your food serving hours to reflect when you guys actually make food items. Every time I’ve come in to get some toast or other food, you guys tell me you closed early. If you’re closing the food serving station early everyday, just change the hours. It’s getting quite annoying and it’s a bit unprofessional. I can’t come in before 3pm most days, so when you guys say you stop serving toasts at 4pm, I’d expect to be able to get toast. Just update your hours because at this point I’m leaving disappointed and annoyed every time I come here.
Great brewed coffee! They roast their own beans. Four stars for the atmosphere.
It could definitely use some TLC cleaning on the floors, tables, and countertops.
