Left Field tavern is one of the few places in Oxford where you can get something made fresh. I got the black and bleu burger that is hand pattied…not frozen. It was outstanding. Every time I come here I am not disappointed like I am at many of the other joints in town. The server was also amazing. Give this place your business…they deserve it.

Visited Friday night, there were only 15 people in the whole bar and service could not have been worse. Slow, dismissive, and rude. Won’t visit again.

Great bar in downtown Oxford. Extensive menu. The bleu and bacon hamburger was delicious. Order mac & cheese as a side.

This place was IT!!!! Walked in here looking for a beer and got an awesome open mic show to go along with it. As an older person in this otherwise colege town I apprecaited how warmly.i was welcomed and accepted....this is the spot

The burgers here are delicious, and there are plenty of TVs playing sports, making it a great spot for catching a game. However, don't expect much in terms of service—it's hard to find a helpful waitress. Also, I'd recommend avoiding the seating in the back for a better experience.

3% surcharge if you are paying with a credit card. Very tacky. Bring cash.

Loved the place, Fried Green Tomato BLT Amazing. Everything looked fantastic. Nice atmosphere, tasteful decor. Plenty of sports on TV's. Parking can be a problem but that's any where downtown Oxford. Will definately return

We've been here several times over the years and had a great experience in every way. This time, not so much. Service was great, and the atmosphere was about the same, but the food was not. My wife had the Philly steak sandwich, which was dry and overcooked and served on a hard stale bun.
I had the Cajon fish that was undercooked and virtually no seasoning at all. Very disappointed this time around. With the prices that are being changed, everything should be top notch.

Food was good atmosphere was decent the server didn't seem to know that when you changed a side from chips that it added to the price. But all in all good experience.

Best Spinach and Artichoke dip. As far as the entree goes…I had the boneless western pork ribs and they were perfectly tender.

This place is so good! I’ve come here over 10 times and I’ve ordered the same thing every time, pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, and a side of coleslaw. Definitely recommend!!

We visited this place on our first night in town. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. We visited again on our last night of our stay, and the bartender was so very different. He acted as if we were bothering him for even coming in.
