Adam is one of the best workers I have ever met when it comes to the bars in Oxford. He is so personable and has amazing energy. Could not recommend Opub and Adam enough!

OPub is a fantastic, atmospheric bar in uptown Oxford. All of the staff there, from the bartenders to the other people behind the bar, are quick and knowledgeable. Thereās also a restaurant, Sorriso, that connects to the bar and you can order food from there and eat it in OPub. They have great pizza and pastas. If youāre looking for somewhere with crafted cocktails and a large wine and dark liquor selection, this is your place.

O'Pub is like the moon. Think of that big capitalized O as our celestial partner in Earth's journey through space and time. On one side, which is the true, geosynchronous heart of O'Pub, we have the bright visible face. This is the bar during the school year; vibrant, busy, and the center of attention. O'Pub controls the tides of the city of Oxford with it's gravitational pull in the going out scene of the city. Do you like wine? Wednesday. Do you like Martinis? Monday. Do you like losing at Trivia? Tuesday. Do you like being around many, many people and contemplating the need for earplugs? Most days.
Then, we have the dark side of the moon. The deep wood of the walls and tall booths, the dim lighting of the establishment, the distance. This is O'Pub during much of the summer, and it became a favorite spot of mine. A place of quiet contemplation and mystery. A place that a band from the sixties would write a concept album around. You may never be able to visit the moon, but I do recommend you visit O'Pub. It's nothing like the moon, but it's pretty rad.

Only the locals of Oxford know the significance of this iconic pub. Although Ohio law allows for minors to drink with consenting parentals on site, this establishment does notāonly 21 and older are allowed in. And the long narrow hallway to the open area bar gives it a mystique in its own right as only the seniors on Miami of Ohio campus and the local people of Oxford know the history and specialness of this pub. The bartender that we talked with was easy going but also we felt he held secrets that only those that had been there often would understand. Come here to be a part of folklore atmosphere. It is like saying whatever happens in this establishment will stay here.

Do you want to wait 30 mins for a drink??? Then this place is for you! Not only are the drinks poorly made, but they take 30 mins to get. If you want a good night out with your friends Iād suggest absolutely anything other than this place. Iāve heard of falling off the cliff, but this place got hit by an earthquake and subsequently fell off a mountain. Donāt come save yourself $12 a drink and stay home!
Horrible experience - danced and got yelled at and had one drink and was told they would not served me bc I asked why someone in porosity got kicked out .. they said bc I was trying to understand I was no longer allowed to be served! At five pm! I had ONE drink. Was just trying to figure out what was going on. Horrible service! Dont give this business your money!

This is one of the better bars to go to especially if you're not a student. The atmosphere is always pretty good, the drinks are good, it has the feel of a cozy local bar, though with that comes the risk of feeling very crowded every now and then. It's still a pretty good place that feels clean and chill.
