I'm from the PNW and have had all the wonderful food from the Pacific. Hawaiian food is always my go to! I introduced my wife to it and she's been hooked ever since. We moved from Florida (where it's so hard to find) and I was so excited to find a spot up here with all my favorites! I love Mac Salad and their mac salad is top tier 😋 I'm not a fan of places that add potatoes to theirs! Ohana Island Grill does not and that's one of the reasons we came!! The staff is always great and welcoming! Our food is always fresh and sooooo good! We've had quite a few dishes but the BBQ mix plate is my wife's favorite. I'm a huli huli chicken or kalua pork gal myself! It's a 40 min drive for us and when we first stopped in, the manager said "isn't there a Hawaiian spot closer to you?" YES there is but I always look at menus first and I came where I knew where I'd be happy and I am NEVER disappointed!!! Thank you Ohana Island Grill for always serving great food and great customer service!

This really is one of my favorite places to eat in Oxford but just unhappy bc this is the 2nd time this has happen to me. I’m not big at all on the pasta salad so I order all rice. It’s even on the recipe. However when I got it, the one thing from this place I don’t like was right there. I know this is a small mistake but it can ruin a persons meal. I know it’s close to close but I tried to call and got no response. Just super disappointed and now have to eat something else.

Ordered chicken curry katsu at around 8, very surprised when I got back home to see that the majority of the chicken was pink and raw inside. I wanted an easy meal so I could focus on studying but I ended up having to recook it. If I knew I'd have to be cooking my food I wouldn't have ordered out and cooked a healthier meal myself. This is the first issue I've had here, I've ordered around the same time before and not had issue, very disappointing.

I come from Las Vegas and have not had Hawaiian food in 10 years this brought me back to our friends home cooking ! It was worth the hour drive!!! Best in Ohio!

Great spot for take-out, supplemented by a fantastic uptown area to sit outside and eat. Hefty portions for the price, cozy and comforting food, and a great selection of Hawaiian Sun drinks. Definitely heavy food, though, and potentially nap-inducing. I always get Chicken Katsu Curry, and an order of Spam Musubi (throw away your misconceptions about spam - you'll love it!)
Interior atmosphere isn't ideal, but is serviceable. You can definitely tell the restaurant was set up with takeout orders in mind, but with such a lovely town surrounding it, that's really not a problem.

The food is great. It brings me back to the our Hawaiian trip we went on a couple of years ago. It is authentic to the region. I will be coming back.
In all honesty, I've only picked up door dash deliveries from here. The crew seems very nice & I've been here multiple times. I can't exactly star the food since I haven't eaten here, but the other two selections are great.
