I walked in and announced I was going to judge their Chicago dogs. . . And the verdict is that they have some darn good dogs! We’re a bit away from Chicago, but for someone who misses her hotdogs dragged through the garden, these hit the spot! My kids loved it, too (huge bonus). Hopefully we can play another tournament here and hit it up again!

I got the bacon burger with a side of waffle fries. The burger was definitely the star of the meal. The burger was juicy, the bacon was crispy, and it was served without mustard or cheese, exactly as requested. I really liked that the price included the side of waffle fries. The fries were cooked well, but I felt like they needed a little more seasoning of some kind that ketchup, salt, nor pepper could supply. Service was friendly and quick! Would absolutely recommend and would visit again. The chairs were a little uncomfortable, but I don’t think anyone really cares in a warm, welcoming place like Skipper’s.

Needed lunch after a Miami U. college tour, so we randomly went to Skipper's because Bagel and Deli was too busy. ABSOLUTE BEST Italian beef sandwich since I left Chicago! Excellent fries! Wife, son, and daughter pleased as well. Excellent service and friendly conversation with the staff. Will definitely go back. (Probably more so if my daughter goes to Miami)

Food was mediocre. Didn’t realize until after I paid when another customer brought up the price displayed wasn’t what you paid. Each menu item seemed to be about a dollar more based on what other people got. The owner basically told that guy tough luck because he couldn’t find numbers to update prices. He seemed rude about it. The 2 younger workers were nice.
Food is just ok. Outside seating is nice & workers are friendly. The inside was freezing

We were in the area and just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Upon entering, I thought it was great because they had outdoor seating, the bar was separate from the food, and it wasn't too busy. It wasn't too clear where to order food and the gentleman didn't speak up. I had to speak to him first. He appeared to be stoned, which whatever. Being in a college town, you can almost expect that. For three meals and drinks, I paid 38.00. That's not great but it's not bad either. I waited for my food for about 10 minutes. I was decently impressed by this and the clarity about which order was being served. At this point, I wasn't totally disappointed. We sat down to eat and first impressions were that everything looked good. When we started eating, we realized it was basically gfs stuff. Still, that's not a total deal breaker. Except, I could not finish even a quarter of my burger, my son didn't eat his at all, but my husband finished his chicken sandwich. We all ate our fries. The burgers had literally no flavor at all and had a weird look to it. It did not look like hamburger. The worst part is my husband got seriously ill within a few hours. Anyway, I would never eat here again. Just go to wendys or burger King. I'm sorry guys! I hope this was just bad timing or something but I won't be returning.

Staff was so friendly and food was delicious. We smashed wings, burgers, waffles fries, and Mac n cheese bites. Everything was amazing. Even good taste in music. Has outdoor seating, a bar, clean bathrooms, and is family friendly.
