I was very impressed with their grits, but the bacon was beyond crispy, it was hard. It's a quaint place. I'm not sure why they need a TV, I would have scored them higher in atmosphere, but that TV was very loud and intrusive.

This is a pretty nice place being in an old pharmacy. I do recommend you come hungry for as the portion size is large and great for the price. The hostess is very nice and the meal came to the table hot and as ordered.Parking: The entrance to the parking lot next to the restaurant is via an alley behind the restaurant otherwise there is plenty of street parking.

Called to order an online pickup order for an office of a bunch of employees. Literally ordered 2 chilis and they gave us chicken Philly's instead. We did not notice until we got back to the office and then called and they told us "there is nothing we can do about it" and I heard a girl in the background arguing saying I ordered chicken which I specifically did not. And she even asked me the size of chili container. Also when my coworker went in my coworker asked them why it was $60 considering the math was not adding upThis place only hires people with the lowest IQ possible. Don't bother going here unless you want to pay 60$ for meals that aren't even close to what you ordered than to be told "oh well"

Wow, probably the worst breakfast I've ever had, home fries burned and only little pieces of potatoes no slices?, omelet came deconstructed?? , 2 slices of plastic cheese ontop of omelet, was so over cooked omelet was rubbery, then sprinkled all over with oregano?? , absolutely horrible, not the same as it was pre-covid when was here last

Save your time and money. Don’t go here!!!!The restaurant smelled like sewage as soon as I entered. Waitress was inattentive and rude. Ordered omelet and they did not even cut up the veggies. They were big pieces. Water tastes like chemicals. Home fries tastes of old grease. My partner did not like their food either. No effort put into the food being cooked. The restaurant wasn’t even busy so no excuses. The waitress even told us blatantly to go elsewhere after we still paid for our disgusting food.

My Girl and I visited the cafe from Cincinnati with the hope of having a good breakfast to start the day. The waitress has a whole attitude the whole time and was being condescending. The water tasted like bleach. My Girl ordered a Big Omelette Special with Tomatoes, Pepper, Onions, Bacon with Home Fries and wheat toast. The peppers and onion was cut fajita style and tasted dirty. The wheat toast was big chunk of multi - grained bread. The home fries was overcooked. I ordered the Big Breakfast Special the two eggs was supposed to be scrambled with cheese. It came out scrambled with two slice of cheese on top like some cafeteria food. My pancakes was overcooked. The waitress has the audacity to say "You can go to a chain restaurant". The nerve.......
The foods gone down hill starting since 2010 used to eat there every morning with my ma and grandpa but I went in to ask if I could use the bathroom and I was treated like I just smoked drugs in the middle of.the dining room and if I get that treatment asking to use a bathroom what does that say about the treatment I'd get if I actually went there to spend money to actually get breakfast I don't and would not recommend this place anymore go to F.A.T.S THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE IS 10x of what sidewalk is

A piece of Painesville history, the cafe was once an old drug store with a soda fountain counter, serving phosphates and malteds. Now the Sidewalk Cafe serves up delicious breakfast and lunch in this historic space. You can eat at that same counter today.
