I thought I posted already, but I am more than happy to post again.
I am going to start out with this: I used to work in the restaurant industry, so believe me when I tell you, it's not for everyone.
It's like inviting strangers to come to your house to eat, and all SOME guests do is crab about everything, and can be very mean about it.
Also, I need to let you know that I am INSANELY picky about my eating environment. I like it quiet and cozy. (Yes, my name IS Karen, but I call on the manager ONLY when the service is wonderful (because I know with what attitudes most restaurant people have to deal everyday.)
Now, to my amazing experience!!
A couple weeks ago, my man and I went to Sunny Street Cafe for our first time. We were shown our table, and within 30 seconds, our server came over to greet us as if we were long-time friends that she hadn't seen a a while. She guided us through the menu as if we were the only ones there. (The place was PACKED!)
I got the feeling that she and everyone else there really enjoy taking care of their guests. So, of course, I told her how impressed I was, and we hadn't even ordered yet. Just sitting inside the place was relaxing. It felt so homey.
She took our orders and went about her business.
Before our food was served, the owner/manager/Chief/ head dude in charge, or whoever he was, came to the table and chatted with us. Again, we were treated like old friends.
I wish I was better at remembering names and what we ate, but all I remember is everything was scrumptious. (Cinnamon pancakes was part of my order and they were absolutely mouth watering!)
Long story short, if you want to feel like you're going to your home away from home for breakfast/brunch food, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Sunny Street Café is a local gem that’s conveniently close to home, making it my top choice for a great meal and a laid-back atmosphere. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles from the friendly staff who know how to make you feel at home, even if it’s your first visit. The service is always on point—attentive without being too much.

Their menu has a great variety of dishes that can satisfy any craving, whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a sweet treat. I’m a big fan of their fluffy pancakes in the morning, and their sandwiches are always fresh and flavorful for lunch. Every meal feels well-prepared and the portions are just right—not too small, not overwhelming.

What I love most is the cozy, inviting vibe of the café. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or enjoy some quiet time by yourself. The prices are fair for the quality of food and service, and the fact that it’s so close to home is a huge plus. If you haven’t checked out Sunny Street Café yet, you’re missing out on one of the best local spots!

A good place for a decent breakfast. It gets a bit loud when it's really crowded.

Worst breakfast food I've ever had. The biskets and gravy was no exaggeration, HARD AS A ROCK. Dry hash browns and also messed up half our order. For the price of the food, you would expect better... Very disappointed. Save your money, go anywhere else but here...

One of our favorite breakfast restaurants. The food is good (and plenty of it) while the service is excellent. Great place!

Amazing place for breakfast post 5k race! The place was packed, but the service was still amazing! Coffee was always refilled before it was half empty. Great breakfast suggestions from the staff. The cinnamon roll pancakes were some of the best I have ever had!

Wife and I ate breakfast there 9/11/24. Service and food were great! But, prices are way too high. Thanks Joe Biden.

My husband and I had breakfast there yesterday, September 4, and it was simply awful! My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had the meat lovers, both with poached eggs. The eggs were as hard as a rock along with the fact that they cook them with vinegar. That is all we could taste! Our server was a sweet girl, but showed no expression or there of when I asked her about what was wrong with the eggs. She said that they always cook them in vinegar. I do know the cooking poached eggs with white vinegar is a process, but you’re only to use a couple of drops or a teaspoon of vinegar to the water solution. Way too much! No re-do… no nothing… however She was very accommodating getting us a to go container because we had our dogs with us and they could eat the eggs. We did sit out on their nice patio. The weather was beautiful but today just proved one thing… there’s no place like home!
