I’m not sure what was more disappointing—my meal at Schnitz Ale Brewery last night or the blatant misrepresentation of it on their menu. I ordered the Chicken Confit, described online and in-house as “Chicken Quarters over seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes.” For $28, I expected a classic preparation: chicken slow-cooked in its own fat until tender and flavorful, with crispy skin and savory, herbaceous notes. We went with a group of friends last night for the first time and had an amazing time. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere, and the best service. Highly recommended!
