Bacchus Lounge is great. Attached to Russo’s restaurant but with a different and more relaxed menu. Their drinks are so strong and delicious! We loved going there prior to Covid, and are patiently awaiting the reopening of this part of the business. Russo’s is open and we’ve gotten some incredible carry out from them, but I miss Bacchus. My gosh their pizza is homemade and some of the best I’ve ever had! When they have their Mardi Gras menu, I highly recommend!
We were very skeptical walking into Bacchus Lounge. We had seen a newspaper clipping from back in January 2019 boasting their gumbo and creole cuisine. However, upon walking in it looked like more of a bar. Very laid back, old looking tables. Nothing fancy. The restaurant in the front is more fine dining but that is not really our style. We were craving something like a bistro or brewery type of feel. Walked into what was more like a laid back bar & gril . Was very skeptical...
