First time here and was pretty disappointed. I ordered the chicken verde enchiladas and the chicken tasted like it was dumped in sock water. I tried some of my husbands as he ordered the Texan fajitas and the shrimp tasted awful and looked a bit undercooked?( slightly translucent). Perhaps it was just the items we ordered and maybe the other items may not have been bad. Otherwise, The service was good, but I probably won’t be coming back sadly

We stopped here on the drive from Kentucky to Ohio when we needed a quick pick me up. My only wish is that this wasnt so far from home as everything was absolutelly amazing!Im a vegetarian and all pf my options were very flavorful. (Bean burrito, bean enchilada, and chile relleno) yooooooo that chile relleno might have been one of the best things Ive eaten. Great serving sizes and when you order a side of sour cream they give you a bowl. Which is exactly what I want!!

La Fogata is next door to the hotel I was staying at. The front desk said that previous guests really liked it so I decided to give it a try. What a 'find'. I asked my server, Jose, what he would order if he was eating. He quickly said the Carnitas dinner. It was a large dish, delicious, and exactly what I needed after an all day motorcycle ride. The pork dish puts many BBQ places to shame. The restaurant has great decor and it is clearly a popular restaurant with the locals. After 20 years of existence I guess they're doing it right. I live in Lake County Ohio where we have a plethora of Mexican restaurants to pick from. From the one dish I tried I would put them right up there with the best of our best. Give them a try.
It was ok I don’t think I will be going back though. Drinks took what seems like forever to be served, we got served dry limes, and my friend never got her cheese dip which was on the receipt but she never got it. At best 2/10. We went yesterday on 4/22/24

I live 3 hours away and wanted to send my dear friend and her family a meal as her mother had just passed away. The staff offered condolences to me while taking my order and helped with recommendations. When my friend's husband went to pick up, staff offered condolences again and assisted him to the car! What an amazing experience for a grieving family. Food was excellent I heard as well.
