Update: So, I have basically fallen in love with this place over the past few months. Each week there is a new special, and each week they haven't had a miss yet. Normally, I get the dry rub on the wings but switched it up with their mustard sauce and they were even better. Philly Cheesestreak Fridays; awesome. Briket Grilled Cheese; awesome. Lucky to have this place around.
Best wings in the Columbus area: the sweet dry rub is amazing. Chopped brisket is sandwich is perfect. I’ve tried all the sides and while they’re all good, my favorite was the green beans.
Plus, all the dudes in here are friendly as hell and really seem to enjoy the work.

We drove by this place because we aren’t typically in this area of town and we are amazed at how great the food here is! The taste is outstanding! Love the atmosphere and I really wish there were more locations around town because this place is great! I am a coleslaw connoisseur and have had many slaws in my life and this place has one of the best that I’ve EVER had.

Well My first experience was a great one !!! Purchased the sample platter and food was well proportioned for the price food had great smoke flavor. Food was fresh. I recommend this establishment immediately!!!! 👌

In town for the day and after a glowing review of their brisket on Columbus Foodies, I had to stop by. I told them I wasn’t too hungry but had to have their brisket. “Do you want it fatty or lean? Do you want it on a bun? Do you want a drink?” They asked all the important questions and brought out a fantastic sandwich. Fatty for moistness but not dripping grease. They had three house made sauces that were all excellent but my favorite was the smoky Siracha.
On the way out I noticed that today they had pork belly burnt ends and I’m kicking myself I didn’t get that too!
If you want quality barbeque from a place that knows what they are doing, go to smoke out.

We have wanted to try this place for a little while but their limited hours made it difficult... That said, we smelled the place as we drove by on 256... When we entered the restaurant, we were met by the sweet smell of the wood fired BBQ. A friendly older gentleman greeted us and took our order. We gathered our drinks and grabbed a table. The dining room was impressively clean. The food took a little bit longer than City BBQ, however a gentleman brought it to the table. He was friendly as well. Observing the employees was rather refreshing as the men seemed to be enjoying their work. The interactions between them and the customers was positive. What about the food? We enjoyed everything we ordered. Everything was properly cooked and arrived at the table hot. Between the two of us we had the Carolina Pork, Pulled Pork, Baked Beans, Green Beans, and Mac & Cheese. All easily are much better than City BBQ. MUCH BETTER. Portions were a good size and in honesty we took enough home for a second meal.
There is a weak spot in the concept. The way the beverages are handled. 12 oz. cans. Yes they also have a small selection of beers which is a plus, but alas, those are in cans as well. They need to invest in a fountain system for their softdrinks. Do it like next week. This place hits it out of the park with everything, food, staff, cleanliness and atmosphere, yet they fall short on the beverage system.... Anyway, want a great BBQ meal? This is the place...

Food left a lot to be desired. I got the 3 meat sampler. Pulled pork, pulled chicken and the "chopped" brisket. For some reason every single one tasted the same and the only word that I could use to describe them is sweet. The brisket should have been called pulled beef as it in no way shape or form a chopped brisket. Mac and cheese was decent but nothing special, green beans were ok. Service was outstanding, all the guys were extremely friendly. Food gets a 1 star but because of the atmosphere and staff I will give them a 3.

THE BEST SERVICE YOU COULD ASK FOR AT A RESTAURANT!! Thank you gentlemen!! I have visited 2-3 times, once as dine-in and the others for takeout. My first experience was dine-in with a friend and my child. It was after 7pm. It wasn’t crowded and it’s very spacious inside. The cook time wasn’t long at all.
For takeout, I was able to call ahead to determine the wait time. Then, I sat in my car as I waited because I had my child. What do you know? THEY BROUGHT MY FOOD TO MY CAR!!! Just great all around!
The food is really good and tasteful. The ribs are seasoned like their life depended on it 👌🏽 and they have a nice smoky flavor as well. The baked beans are really good too! I let my family try it and they were very impressed! The flavors are different than what I’m used to but I’m a foodie. Food is an experience and I don’t expect everyone to use the same recipe. You get nice sized portions and the cost is reasonable. I believe I paid less $20 inside and $30 for take-out.
PLEASE VISIT AND GIVE THEM A TRY! You won’t be disappointed.
