Just going through town and decided to try it. Not sure how this restaurant is rated so highly. Not very clean, restrooms need a lot of attention, chips/salsa taste store-bought, and service was lacking. Fajitas were great and pricing was reasonable, but won’t go back.
Zapatas is a once a week date spot for us. We sometimes get food, sometimes just drinks. the Miami Vice is 🔥. The frozen margaritas are much better than El Vequero and they don't try to rush you out. The same staff has been there for a long time which shows me they must treat their staff well. The steak is the best steak you will ever have on a taco. We love sitting outside. The Ocean Enchiladas, especially with green sauce, are outstanding and reasonably priced at $16. Guests love the chips and salsa, and the mojitos are always top-notch. Comfortable seating and personable service create a great atmosphere, especially on the patio. Although some service experiences may vary, the fast and friendly service makes it a highly recommended spot to enjoy Mexican cuisine and create lasting memories.
