There is a worker in there who is not very professional and acts like he doesn’t want to be there working. Dogging door dashers and those who use it. Saying these things with a customer while there was a dasher present and he knew that and in front of a child who was picking up an order made online. I suggest they find another worker to replace him. And just so the owner and other workers know door dashers workers are timed on everything they do so outwardly saying you purposely do the door dashers and any pick up order for that matter last is very disrespectful to all the people either ordering a pick up or ordering door dashers! Very disappointed in this business they post like it’s a great place but I guess not.

Best coffee I ever had

The Village Brew is a true gem in Piketon! I stopped in for a vanilla latte and it was one of the best I’ve had…smooth, flavorful, and expertly made. I also tried the yogurt parfait for breakfast and it was fresh, light, and delicious.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff were super friendly. It’s everything you’d want in a local, independent coffee shop. If you’re in or around Piketon, definitely make time to stop by.

Highly recommend!

we live about 35 minutes away and were close to there for an event. super friendly staff that helped us make our choice of a beverage and 100% one of the best things I've had in a long time. If you're in the area make sure to stop by. For me it is "special trip" worthy. can't wait to stop back and try something else! pricing is great also.

We have traveled the country from West to east coast...north to south borders...we didn't have the food but looked delicious, but the service was absolutely amazing. Very unique building and set up would definitely visit again. CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. Thank you for the great experience and restoring hope in small businesses and customer service.

So thankful to find a coffee shop open in the afternoon for a little pick me up on the two hour drive heading home.
My husband (no foam latte) and I (americano) LOVED our drinks. They were perfectly hot and really great taste. Appreciated their carrying sugar in the raw with the sweeteners.
The shop is so open and cosy that I totally didn't find the register 😅 thank you for being kind staff! Love it.
Anyway, saving you in the favorites and we're looking forward to the next visit!

I was just traveling and came through this town. Decided to come get a caffeine fix while I was stopping for gas and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Quite the opposite. The staff recommended me this local favorite and drinking this thing has me wishing I was a local here. Plus if you are local, they have an awards program. The place is very nicely decorated too. I 10/10 recommend.

It was just okay. The wait was pretty long, but once our orders were taken we got our drinks fairly quickly. The vibes in the cafe itself were cozy, but very heavy on the protestant memorabilia, which could either be a major positive or negative depending on who you are. There is a very large table and free wifi which seems great for coming in to work on a laptop.

The coffee and food was decent. I'd say that for the taste and the price, I would've given 3 stars, but I had to knock off a point. Unfortunately, my friends and I all had pretty bad stomach aches all day after drinking the coffee, which was pretty disappointing.

All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, and I also recognize that this may be one of the better (only?) local coffee shops in the area. But I definitely would not go out of my way for it again.
